Had lunch here on Monday and Tuesday, I spotted it on the way to the pig n sty where I got a pizza takeaway at lunch the week before for £18 thinking it was buy one get one free but that?s only 3-6pm! The pig n sty was full but not the bull? The bulls pizzas are much better and much cheaper, win win.
The spinach n feta pie is totally delicious ? there?s a good selection of other pies and a good pub food menu. It?s a lovely big old pub, I had a very warm welcome from Tom, I assume he?s the manager, he was very attentive and ensured my visit was perfect.
All the menu is very reasonably priced.
I will be back here for lunch for sure and hear the Sunday roast is very good too.

Hidden gem of a pub, we arrived later on a Sunday just before 5ish and so we had missed the lunch rush.
Food was amazing and the man who served us was lovely.
Definitely recommend the roasts and the Eton mess.
Will return!

First time I?ve used AI choose country pub lunch locations and this one came up! There were others but we chose The Bull Inn.
Over and above everything else we have to mention the fantastic service that we received upon our arrival and during our visit. I am sorry I didn?t take the name of the man, he was cheerful, chatty and just really wanted to make sure that we had the best possible lunch.The food was good too.

Really slow service, which is strange as it was very quiet. Awkward member of staff serving. Never complained or sent food back before, but had to pay for our starter and drinks and leave before eating mains due to how bad the service was.

Haven't been here for years and I wasn't disappointed, as soon as we walk in meet with great service, very welcoming by a lovely man, he couldn't do enough for us to make us comfortable.
I had salmon to start with ,followed by Cod with crushed new potatoes, white sauce and tender stem brocili. Absolutely delicious, beautiful presented on the plate ,couldn't fault it. I wish I had taken a photo ?
Only given a 4 for atmosphere as it was very quiet in there, which was such a shame as the tables where set out lovely.
I hope more people visit the Bull as it's well worth it.

Service and food were great. My steak was slightly under done but it was a large steak and everywhere is different. Sadly we were the only table on a Saturday night. I hope more people give it a go. We will definitely return!

I came with a few friends on a weekend and had mains and dessert. This is the best food I have ever had at a pub! Everything tasted fresh, delicious, unique flavors and the desserts were the cherry on top! We also had a few cocktails which were phenomenal. The pub is very clean and the staff very friendly. Will definitely come back and I highly recommend coming here.

Visited om a lunchtime and was surprised there were only a few people there.
The service and friendliness were exceptional, and the food was uptstanding.
People who have not visited are missing a real treat. I will be back ASAP, even though I live over an hour & a quarter away.

It?s a real shame, seeing what once was a very busy village pub however we tried you twice for a little food a Sunday lunch, and a midweek brunch, allthough the staff were very welcoming and kind, food though was a problem, the meat was very good, but all the veg was either over cooked or undercooked, and warm at best. the midweek lunch was just a plain panini, yet when it arrived, it was very clearly a baguette and not what we ordered. then, to finally finish, our daughter popped into the pub on a wounderfull sunny Sunday evening, only to ask to drink up as you needed to close (It was only 7 pm)
I hope you can sort the food issues, as it's sad to say I feel this is the only way you will succeed. We wish you the best of luck, but like many others, we will not be returning it, Good luck,
