So sad. The soul has gone from this pub.... No atmosphere. Smelt of dogs. Landlord did not smile.. Not how I remember it when it was in its prime... No sign of a food menu. Coukd not wait to leave. I'm sorry but I truly remember this pub as the buzz of the village and neighboring villages. ?

Called in after a walk with a group. The fire was on and we were served a great choice of beers including 4 types of Harvey's Ales. Friendly place still being refurbished but don't let that out you off.

Haven't visited i some years - walked out in the early afternoon to enjoy the day. Always enjoy a good bitter - the owner keeps an excellent Harvey's best bitter! The pub is very clean. I was amazed that the pub was so quiet albeit i was there in the afternoon. . Everywhere is spotless. Highly recommend a visit. Great pub, lovely location...the village are so fortunate to have this idealic pub on their doorstep!

Stumbled upon this delightful place whilst out for a drive in the countryside on Sunday ,we were served by an extremely helpful and friendly young lady this public house has a lovely atmosphere and we were informed that whilst good is not available at the moment it will be in the future ,
A nice selection of ales and other beer also some very nice cider ,we will definitely return and so looking forward to when they are able to provide food as it's a very lovely pub In a delightful little hamlet .

A recent visit on a recommendation with the magic word of Harvey's beer made a visit a dead cert! Tastefully refurbished with thoughtful materials makes for a pleasant experience with amongst other things the welcome warmth from the woodbuner!Oh, and the Harvey's! 4 of the breweries offerings on hand pump made me split for choice!Parking: Just at the side of the pub.
