Came for breakfast this morning and unfortunately it was very disappointing. Everything apart from the beans and sausage was inedible. The food had clearly been left under the hot plate far too long.. even the tomato had developed a crust. The toast was stale, and the bacon was so hard it may as well have been pork scratchings. For the prices being charged, I would have expected a much fresher and more enjoyable breakfast. Waitress wasn?t very apologetic but offered for us not to pay straight away.
Plus the table looked like it hadn?t been cleaned for a while, pots with the sugars and sauces in had dirt on them alongside a hair? When I sat on the chair it felt as if it was going to collapse. Very disappointing, won?t be visiting again!

Absolutely one of the very best farm shops we have found around the country and for our money the best in Kent. Great choice of foodstuffs - fresh fruit and veg - deli - fish and meat - cakes and biscuits - wines and beers (particulalry good for local Wines which are outstanding) - gifts - sandwiches and on and on. Not cheap as farm shops aren't but the quality is just top range and it's worth the money.

A nice, big shop with a nice meat and cheese counter and very friendly staff, but it shouldn't call itself a farm shop because it sells far too many things that you can buy in any regular supermarket. No fresh, homemade bread, no eggs (at least I didn't see any), no homemade jam, honey, or sauces. The bread was pre-packaged and delivered with too many additives, just like in a supermarket; you get better quality and healthier things from a bakery. It's a supermarket in the countryside, surrounded by fields, but not a farm shop. As a tourist who happened to be passing by, I expected more. It's also annoying that you can't get into the parking lot with larger vehicles (camper vans).

Excellent meals and the staff in the restaurant were very helpful when my mother felt a bit unwell. One of the waiters got her a nice cold drink of water and made sure she was OK.

Such a friendly place with some lovely produce. Their quiches are, well once you have tasted one you would not buy a supermarket one again.
I buy all my food here now, and to be quite honest if you are cooking from scratch the weekly food bill is not that much more expensive. Peace of mind that what I eat is safe with no hidden additives is the most important thing to me.

The shop is great & would have had a 5 star rating but the cafe is a 3 star so that brings the rating down. It?s such a shame as I love visiting the shop.
I visited yesterday for mum?s birthday brunch & the service was really slow. We waited over half an hour for our breakfasts. My poached eggs were hard boiled & the sourdough toast was rock solid. Mum?s breakfast was just warm. We won?t visit the cafe again. ?

Very disappointed with café today. Had a paninni which as OK but the salad was a few bits of green stuff with a dressing of some description. Not appetising at all. Very poor for the money. My husband had ham egg and chips which was luke warm. Hope they improve. Staff very pleasant so that's why 2 stars

Our favourite stop!
I first visited Gibson's Farm Shop with our East Kent Advanced Motorcyclists group. Friendly and fantastic service with fresh cakes the size of doorstops! Don't miss out.
Today my partner and I popped in yet again and enjoyed a delicious breakfast with coffees.
As always, lovely service from the friendly team and a very tasty breakfast. Looking forward to our next visit. Thank you! ? ? ? ? ?

The shop looks great, the cafe on the other hand is different gravy. We waited for a long time at our table outside to be served and no one came.
Thankfully Goodnestone Park is so good with a different level of staff.
It is a shame as Gibsons is always looking popular, and I drove an hour to get there, but maybe I went on a day when the young staff really didn't want to be working.
