I preordered a toilet seat from Aylesford branch . Got it next day . The only mistake I did that I did not check the box inside. The seat was covered in torn plastic bag . I checked the colour of the seat with my toilet colour without opening the box , as the box has a side window. It was not matching hence I took it for return to the Aylesford outlet. While returning they opened the box and found the torn plastic bag . The person on the counter refused to take it back and return my money.
Why did not they showed me while selling the condition of the seat ? They were not ready to listen my pleas rather looking at me as a liar. It?s the worst experience , I should say .
Sorry to say ,These tactics of Screwfix are nothing short of cheating.
So friends whatever you buy from here make sure you are getting the right stuff .

Ordered a plug socket for click and collect, the website said it was in stock, I paid then they emailed me telling me it's coming from a distribution centre and won't be available until tomorrow. Tried to call but phones aren't connecting.

Clearly marked directions in the shop. Helpful staff took their time to fully resolve my query. They now have tablet computers instead of magazines to browse and place orders, good addition.

Staff were great, very helpful and friendly but two things I went for were out of stock. And they were not available in surrounding stores either. Have to order.
