An hour wait for a pre-ordered prescription that I ordered a week ago! Countless customers came in after me that had to wait for a prescription to be dispensed and were served before me. When I spoke to the colleague I was told they are short staffed and I have to allow 10 days for collection!!!! No waiting system at all. Appalling service will be going elsewhere from now on

Better Than all the Rest"Each time I've visited Paydens at 12-14 Martin Square, Larkfield, I've had a wonderful experience with their courteous, efficient, and cheerful staff. On one occasion, I even had the opportunity to have a chat in a private room with their head pharmacist, who kindly took my blood pressure. Paydens is located miles away from my residence, whereas Oaks Pharmacy, situated just across the road from my house, seems incapable of delivering such exceptional service. Today, I was pleasantly shocked to receive a phone call from Paydens, checking in on how I was doing with my prescription. I must admit, I was almost fell off my chair in disbelief in doubt at the incredible care and level of service received from Paydens at every level, after the appalling experience I received at Oaks my faith has been restored and the extra distance up the hill on foot from the village is well worth it."

What's with this sending to hub ?A week between ordering prescription at doctors and it possibly being ready. Was told it's be there 2 pm today. 5.20pm said it's not done, and we're closing... It'll be done Monday ..Getting prescriptions sent elsewhere, nothing is ever in stock or ready.

Always a queue and is slow to move. Need better organising. I.e. one till for normal retail purchases and one for the prescription drop off.

Avoid at all cost. Diabolical service. Some staff are friendly and some staff need a new vocation.

If ever there was a reason to stock-pile your medicine, Paydens is it. Helpful and friendly staff are not backed up by systems. Some out-of-touch manager, sitting in his/her ivory tower, has decided to change the system for prescriptions which now take in the region of 2 weeks from ordering to collection. As we were going on holiday, we submitted our repeat prescription requests to our GP slightly early, thank goodness. Obviously, this can't be done too early or the surgery won't authorise it. 6 days after submission we went to Paydens to collect, only to be told they weren't ready and come back a couple of days later. Dutifully, we returned today only to be told that our prescriptions still weren't ready and would we please take a seat. Apparently, part of the order is now sent away. Why??? The staff were overwhelmed, the queue was out the door, and the waiting area for prescriptions was full. The poor staff are having to deal with constant complaints from customers. We waited for our prescriptions to be made up, only to be told that it was short and could we come back tomorrow. From walking through the door to walking out took almost an hour. This is simply not good enough. If you are going away on holiday, it means you might need to submit your request as much as 4 weeks early in order to stand a chance of picking up your medication before you leave and not risk running out of medication while away. Either that, or stockpile your medication. I really feel for the staff. Whoever has been responsible for the change of system, which clearly isn't working, should be given their marching orders.

Paydens have been very busy lately but prescriptions are usually ready.
