Lots of uncleared tables outside but then there was only 3 staff but even so should clear the tables you see first .Lovely peach tea I drank with a gingerbread biscuit.

Well I can honestly say that I was not impressed. Very slow service. The lunch deal with toastie was disgusting and very dry. The staff were terrible and not at all customer friendly. I would not go to this one ever again ?

Every table had not been cleared and alot of flies on the dirty plates and cups ,
Ordered a drink to have in nut left before finishing my drink as I felt uncomfortable and dirty

Absolutely filthy place. No tables were cleared so there was nowhere to sit in the cafe, the floor looked like it had never been swept and cups and plates piled high on the tables. Behind the bar was another story. As an ex Costa employee myself I would've been sacked on the spot if my bar was as messy as theirs was. Again, cups, blenders (not washing blender's between drinks either, serious allergy risk) and what looked like mouldy milk spills on the floor along with lids, napkins and coffee grounds.
When I eventually did get served, as the staff were too busy chatting, eating and drinking or on their phones (again, I would've been scalped if I was spotted on my phone behind the bar let alone taking a phone call) the staff member was too distracted and didn't put the lid on my drink properly resulting in me spilling my drink just outside the store. I went back inside to attempt to get another drink, but it would've been easier to get blood out of a stone.

It was lovely ? (a year ago)
Last week & today a different matter. It?s dirty & the costa app doesn?t always work on this store. I?m scared to visit the toilets don?t know what I would find.

Baristas are nice, coffee and food are good, but this shop is always short of staff, so they don't have time to clear and clean tables. We had to clear our own table. Next time I'll take photos, because the management should do something about it, would be a shame not to.

Amazing vegan cakes and especially the tiffin and cheesecake. Very pleasant staff and really friendly and chatty. Would definitely visit again.

Very good Costa with all the usual options that Costa do, but the tables were not being cleared or cleaned and the whole place seemed a bit dirty.

As Costa coffee is true for the brand, and the variety is very good ? The staff is really kind and the service is excellent ?
