Do not buy a used car from here. They clearly do not carry out the checks they claim to. They didn't even check the tyre pressure and I drove away with 2 flat tyres. Less than a year later and I'm having to pay 2K for a new clutch. A separate VW mechanic said that the clutch would have been noticeably damaged when I bought it. And it's not covered in the Warranty they claimed covered everything. Don't do it.

Went to the Maidstone showroom , cars scattered everywhere hard to park when disabled.Got in to the showroom a most welcoming receptionist polite and professional to which I enquired about a mobility vehicle she then went off to find a sales person.Who barked out he had a handover and gave her a business card I did feel for the lady.As my reply was he is going to be like that forget it she said you sore what she had done ( no thing wrong professional and polite)I said it?s was the salesperson rude and unprofessional.VW try employing professionals you got it bang on with the receptionist pity maybe they don?t want mobility customers.Not going back?.

Initial interest good. Suspect car being sold had the wrong screen price as the offer on my car was 2k under what others had offered. Treated with distain and ignored for some reason. Walked away.

Shocking customer service from the sales team from start to end!. I asked the dealership if the car was immaculate with no paintwork repairs, of which I was assured it was. I travelled 3 hours to the dealership to discover the drivers side rear door was full of filler and had been painted. There was also other marks on the paintwork from where the car had been poorly looked after. I complained to the sales team (including the manager), who of course knew nothing about it.Additionally their communication was so poor throughout, I had to keep calling & chasing to ensure it was going to be ready.I will never use this dealership or Group 1 ever again!

Shocking customer service, paid deposit for a car booked my 4 hour train journey only to be phoned up 1 hour before arrival to tell me the paint had fell off the door whilst being washed, my options given to me were 1 go back home now and we will spray the door or 2 take the car get it sprayed and we will pay you. No apologies and no after contact, Don?t trust any of the sales people?apparently having the bottle opener in the car still means it?s been well looked after. How did such a car get through their QC oh hang on!!!

Didn't actually get as far as buying a car from them. I called them last night to enquire about a car they were selling, they promised to phone me this morning to tell me if it had sold or not - no such phone call. Phoned twice again to ask about the car's status, was told twice that someone would phone me back - heard nothing. Bought a car from another dealership who have a far better level of customer service! Well done Ivanhurst Motor Company.

Showroom looked good, plenty of staff there but none seemed to be willing to serve, more interested in talking to each other. One was dealing with a customer and his car collection, two guys in an office having a chat, didn't come.out. shame really, will go elsewhere

Avoid, they don't call back and aren't interested in trying to rectify intermittent faults. Use JCB Medway. Thank you for your reply. Your after sales manager has my contact details if he wants to call and discuss it. I will update when I get a response.

Terrible !!!! Where do i begin 21st july put my car in to have new tyres 8 oclock am waited 1 and half hours to tell me they had put the wrong tyres on my car it was not washed as promised had a row with manager who kept saying sorry no good to me my car is not 2 years old yet and its my pride and joy buying it from new why did this happen i bought the car from them surely i deserve a good service ...they said they wod call me to let me know when the tyres would be in next day I HAD TO CALL THEM then they said oh yes they would do them tomorrow morning with a discount so they should wasted my time friday and saturday morning ...i was so upset having odd tyres for a day ...on my lovely car disgusting...but next day a Victoria Cohen could not do enough for me she was good and understanding well done but the rest of your team need to work together GET A GRIP VW ! Your reputation has really gone down you are suppose to be a reliable company ....NEVER in my eyes Never from a very upset customer who you know who i am

Just a quick review about a parts experience.Another VW dealer let me down badly on some parts service/supply but I knew I was travelling past maidstone and called ahead to enquire with this dealership.These guys helped me out with what I needed and clearly said what I?d need to order versus what was in stock. The guy on parts had the whole lot ready for me as I drove past and called in.Result? My car goes in for a planned service at my destination and comes out spot on with a couple of issues resolved. Thanks for helping me out.

Service department is abysmal?The staff are friendly enough but unfortunately the mechanics aren?t very good.Both my wife and myself had service plans here but won?t be renewing them.My wife had her Beetle serviced there a while back and they didn?t tighten the drain bolt up properly which meant over the past few months, the car slowly leaked oil all over our drive.We took it to a local mechanic who immediately found the problem an replaced the bolt and did another oil change.I?ve just had my car serviced?I dropped off the car and returned home to find out that my plan had expired and that the service would cost over £400?They sent me a good video of the underneath of my car which told me the rear brake pads would need replacing soon?they quoted me £134.95. I agreed to this and asked them to go ahead?I then had a phone call telling me that price was wrong and the real price was nearer to £500!My local mechanic had just quoted me £155.00.When I picked up my car the oil level was only 3/4 full?They took the car back in and tried to fob me off telling me that they didn?t want to over fill it.They topped the oil off but I will never be returning as a customer and I?ll never recommend them.

Honestly the best Car buying experience I have ever had. Purchasing the car was straightforward and delivery option was an added bonus! Had a few issues with the car upon delivery, but these were sorted swiftly both under the VW Warranty and some covered as a goodwill gesture by Group 1. Even though there were initial issues, they were dealt with in a very professional and swift manner. Huge thanks to Adam and Tony for all their help! 10/10

Service department lacks great customer service. On the fifth time of trying to speak with one of the service assistants, I was informed by them that they?d been running around like a headless chicken - therefore I assumed too busy to give me a quick call back! Eventually they apologised but it certainly didn?t feel like a genuine apology. They then passed me over to someone else to amend my service booking, even though they were the one who did the booking in the first place! I was left with the impression that they didn?t really want to speak with me, perhaps I wasn?t important enough for them. Shame, as the sales team are fantastic and the mechanics always do a great job.
