Wanted certain items on special offer, all available. Plenty of hand sanitizer and blue roll to wipe trolly down. People maintaining social distancing, not an unpleasant experience.

People without masks, not a lot of social distancing. Cleaning station on entrance. Vegetables usually high quality. A few brand names scattered throughout. Definitely pros and cons with Aldi

Had thought of trying Aldi for some time. This week went at 2pm. Joined a queue to get in. No parking slots and joined a queue to get out so did no shopping. Today tried at 5pm. Easy parking but fresh vegetables had all gone so dissaptfor second time. I won't bother again.

Prices are good however think the checkouts could do with a bit more cutesy. Ive been in retail over 25 years and its like get the customer served as quick as possible. Reminds me of Kwik Save back in the 90's but the checkout staff were trained to pack the shopping into the trollys which ment no stress for the customer in packing bags. They always had a trolly next to their checkout so the food didn't get built up on the small space of their checkout. Other than that its not a bad shop.

Inexpensive shop. Plenty of great bargains. Stock levels are always high. Clean and well lite store. Easy to navigate the store, even for disabled access. On the down side, there is ALWAYS long queues at the checkouts, mainly down to the small number of checkouts available. And watch out for the £70 parking charge if you exceed to 90 minute park restriction. They are merciless when they enforce this charge. Point to note, this charge is just an invoice for the £70. It IS NOT a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) similar to those issued by police and traffic wardens. This charge is a civil as opposed to a criminal offence and as such can only be enforced if Aldi's deem it financially beneficial to take you to court. Good luck and happy shopping!
