I ordered a popular men?s fashion magazine on a Monday been in to see if the?supplier?has sent ONE twice this week nothing yet everytime I go in I get a blank stare from the assistant like I?m asking for a kidney or the nuclear codes with no idea if it will ever surface so why punch in my details and try to order this elusive magazine in the first place?
How does a book shop like W H Smith not have one of these or 5 in stock it?s a popular magazine with a famous actor interview this month they have every other dumb down comic and trash magazine in stock about the most mundane topics and Oasis collector reunion booklets featuring these two clowns mugging at us punters.
But not one of these and no idea if they can muster one in the next year before they get taken over by who knows who maybe that?s why they can?t survive the high street these days?once again just the simple things in the UK aren?t simple anymore I?m a dinosaur that actually wants a magazine I?ll go away and live in the woods it?s simple there.

It stocks lots of books gifts cards and other useful stuff. Good place to go to get a special interest magazine and such. Lots of different stationery things that are good for students. They offer a wide range of cards, from lots of different suppliers. Never loads of staff, but you never wait long to be served

I have visited this place very often because of the post office. The young dude and the young lady working there are really pleasant and helpful. The post office staff also are very polite and helpful.

I visited WHSmith today to use the Post Office that is located at the rear of the store and renew my driver's license.The store is currently allowing in store purchases for essential items and they are following the Covid 19 guidelines to the letter. WHSmith has a vast array of items and the store is very well laid out with everything easily accessible.The Post Office provided excellent service and it took less than 10 minutes to renew my driver's license.All staff were friendly and helpful and also followed the current Covid 19 guidelines.
