Myself and my partner visited the five bells for breakfast. A big thank you to Jen for looking after us so well. You were professional, kind, calm and extremely organised in running the morning service. The atmosphere was really peaceful and the breakfast was 5*. We could not get enough of the sourdough toast and salted butter. Yum. See you again soon. Highly recommend.

Won't answer the phone. Yet another business that isn't interested in business. I'm sure this place is great, but if you can't be bothered to answer the phone, I can't be bothered to make my way over there.

Popular countryside pub with lovely interior, cosy fire and great lager and ale selection. Pub staff very active and visible in making sure visitors are welcome and comfortable. We didn't eat tonight but from previous experiences you can expect high quality.

A wonderful find in the countryside! A beautiful pub. The food was outstanding and the service was excellent. The staff were super friendly and accommodating with our little five month old (with Pram). Great atmosphere and really cosy! Can't wait to go back again ?

Great pub with very comfortable rooms. Recommend this place for an overnight stop before an early crossing through the Chunnel. Food was very good and exceptional service.

The ambience was delightful. Drinks were super. Food was delicious and plenty of it. The service was outstanding. It is rare for a restaurant to get everything perfect but Memo and his team have managed to do it! The best restaurant we have been to in a long time and we will certainly be going back.

Stunning place. Went for 2 nights for our anniversary in December, room was lovely, bed comfy, beautiful copper bath, only downside to the room was the extremely creaky floor in the loo. Food was really good and staff very friendly , only downside to the restaurant was the 10% service charge and no mention of it at all. The first meal we were forgotten about for our main for a very long time and the second night's meal asked preference to chunky chips or skinny fries, the wrong ones came, I mentioned straight away and the young lad just said oh sorry and no mention of changing it. I always leave a tip but it should be a choice and not put upon you, in my opinion.
