After going to the post office on Saturday afternoon. And being told that they are close. But finding out that they should be open. (from the post office company untill 5.30pm ) the place is a joke. When they are open. The woman behind the post office. Never say hello. Has a face as straight as bull dog chewing a wasp. Always seems as if it's too much to serve you. I've live in the village for many years now. When I 1st came here the people who ran the shop before had it always stock up with food. Now he gets his food from tesco. Brings it back and adds more on the price. The shop is a joke. Would not recamend as you can get you shopping cheeper in tesco. And using the post office at Mersham. They are so much more friendly. Why pay more when you could pay less and get a better service else where.

Aldington Post Office is a tremendous asset to the village. I regularly use the postal services to buy stamps, post letters and packages for the walking group I belong too - until two years ago this included mailing around 400 items three or four times a year and nothing was too much trouble. I also do much of my personal banking and foreign currency purchases here. It's so convenient - only a few minutes walk from my home - especially when many bank branches have closed in recent. years

On three different occasions I've tried to post a load of parcels on a Saturday at different times between 9am-12:30pm which is the opening hours. Yet everytime they have been closed. I've been told they are still open Saturday just don't appear to be. For a local post office very unreliable.

Local shop. Range of frozen chilled and dry goods. limited fresh veg. Bread. Wine and beer. Cleaning products. Cards, stationery. Papers Post Office. Vape stuff.

I had an important parcel to post and it needed to go today. I checked on Google for the opening times as I wondered if the post office shut at lunchtime on a Saturday. However Google assured me, under the title Aldington Post Office, that it was open until 6.30pm. Got there at 2.30pm to be told it shut at lunchtime. When we mentioned it said 6.30pm on the website he said that was just the shop.If the two things are going to have different hours this needs to be made clear! Very disappointed. Please change the internet information.

I left work early today to collect a parcel from this post office. I got there at around 17:05 and I asked if the post office was open and she said no. I asked why, as it doesnâ??t close until 17:30, she said the lady just had to go and the remaining staff member doesnâ??t know what to do. I wouldnâ??t mind if it was a piece of clothing etc but itâ??s medication for my horse!!! My parcel was literally sat there and I wasnâ??t allowed to take it. What a joke!! Fair enough, perhaps she had an emergency but train all your staff in case that situation arises!!! Iâ??m so angry!!
