Dietary restrictions: I got asked at the start of the meal was nice.
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, there were kids there as I had my meal and the staff was very accommodating.
Wheelchair accessibility: I don't have one but it's very easy access.

Waited 2 and a half hours for food, in the end just ended up getting it in a take away box and leaving, during the waiting time no staff came to our table offering us drinks or anything! They said we had to ?pre order? the food but had only received one email just confirming the booking? what a joke 18/12/24

When ordering I got told that they couldn't do any of my particular kind of pizza at the time when I asked why the waitress said she didn't know when surely it could have been a simple explanation of "we have run out" but offered no such explanation or excuse. To go with that having to wait 20 minutes for drinks to be served and then 35 minutes for something as simple as dough balls to be served and when told "sorry about the wait" we didn't get to hear the excuse as the waitress was walking away from us whilst talking, to be sat also in a table around a dark corner about 60cm away from a set of stairs that if I pushed my chair back to get up I would fall down said stairs, very poor service and definitely not what I would expect from a pizza express.

I usually love Pizza Express and have never had any issues with them either in store or as a takeaway service - both of which I have used for years all across the country - but this branch (Ashford North Street) is the exception to the rule. Certain members of staff are clearly lazy and incompetent.
I ordered a delivery on the Deliveroo App at around 9pm Christmas Eve. The order was accepted by the restaurant. I waited for around an hour and 10 minutes. The estimated delivery time was just continually changed, so I eventually phoned the restaurant at around 22:15, having Googled the store and seen that it said it had already closed for the night by that time. I had no communication from the restaurant.
A woman answered (out of breath, like she'd run the catch the phone) who gave her name as Izzy to say that they were all going out the door and it, to paraphrase, was just tough luck that there were no drivers available and to ''go through Deliveroo''.
She was rude, curt and continually referred to me as ''my lovely'' in a condescending manner.
When I put it to her that I was not informed that my ordered had been cancelled despite the fact that they were all off out the door that minute, Izzy again brushed it off and just told me to ''go through Deliveroo''. She knew of the order but had no explanation at all as to why she wasn't going to bother to inform me that it wasn't being delivered.
All very well saying ''go through Deliveroo' when it's gone 10pm, and you've no way of getting any dinner for the evening!
This is not the kind of service I have come to expect from a company like Pizza Express. Your branch were at fault here for your staff's rudeness and not informing me that the delivery was cancelled!!!!
It seems to me that the staff just do as they please and pass the buck onto Deliveroo whenever it suits them.
Customer service is clearly not a priority.
Needless to say, I will not be ordering from or visiting this branch again. It has become clear to me who's running this shower and the type that they are.
NO EXCUSE FOR BAD SERVICE.

Pizza Express always provides a consistent experience. The food is good but not flashy, the service is efficient and understated and the prices are competitive. It's a great place for a casual but satisfying meal.

This restaurant has been going down hill for a few years now. Shame as it always used to be decent and consistent. Prices are now silly and the food is below average. Went in for early dinner on 18/10/24, dough balls over cooked, salad with kids dough balls looked like it had been hanging around all day, calamari was soggy, lettuce in the salad was old and limp. Overall very disappointed, especially considering the hefty price tag of £80 for two adults and two kids! Cant justify that sort of money for under par food. Service was decent, so credit to the only waitress on at the time.

Been coming here for years, most of the waiting staff here know our order by heart but today we walked in more than an hour before closing and this waitress we have never seen before tells me and my wife that they were short-staffed and can?t serve us so we should do takeaway. How hard is it to carry two pizzas to a table? Ridiculous!

The best pizza express in Ashford. The one in the designer is poor compared. This is a fun, nice atmosphere and decent pizza.
