Not the best staff with the exception of one young lady Amy or Emily who has always been politeduring lockdown the staff showed their true colours sadly when we are all going through this awful transition we should all do so with respect I was made to feel like a leper for no reason other than this middle aged lady was not happy being in her office - Halifax if your staff are uncomfortable in this situation they should not be made to work.very disappointed and not sure want to return so looking to move account as now feel extremely awkward

I have never left a review before on anything but I feel as though I need to in order to help others in my position. I Just moved back to England. My account had been closed and two people in this branch told me there was nothing they could do about it and sent me on my way with no bank account (which means no money, no job and no way of renting a room). I was so nervous and so I went to Bristol to visit my brother and went to the bank here. The woman sat down with me and called everyone she could to make it work and she was able to find out why my account closed and was able to re open it and order me a new card! So there WAS something they could have done! How could you have just told me there was nothing you could do? Iâ??d like to note Iâ??m a British citizen and had already had an account.

Tracey, the Manager at Ashford has just confirmed to me that because of Halifax policy, only one till will be open to serve the public. Even though staff are available, they would rather elderly and disabled people queue for 30 minutes or more and suffer in the queue than open up a second till. This is disgraceful and inhuman and shows poor and inflexible management.
