Was waiting for 50 minutes after being promised they would come in a sec. Not like they was doing anything but standing about anyways!

Don't buy the 'instant replace' policy.
£200 for nothing as it can't be used and the manager in the store states its not instant replace and is only a 'repair policy' despite seeling it to us as a policy to replace instantly if faulty and the paperwork saying the same.
This place is getting worse and worse and they are not interested in customer service or support and are miss selling policies to customers!

I had an amazing experience with Ellen on 01.07.2025. She was incredibly helpful in guiding me to choose the right TV. She went through each option step by step with so much patience and a genuine smile the entire time. Her knowledge and friendly approach made the whole process easy and enjoyable. Thank you, Ellen, for your excellent customer service!

Went in to buy a Samsung TV for my elderly father & Barron was professional, and knowledgeable!
Even carried it out to the car park for us
An absolute credit to the Ashford Kent store
Can't praise his customer service high enough!!!

We went into curry?s to buy a new washing machine, microwave, toaster and kettle, we waited a long time for some service? but no one came. We saw an old lady ask for help and one of the staff rolled his eyes and tutted. After that we decided to go to Argos to buy everything instead. Everytime I?ve been to curry?s it?s been terrible customer service, which is sad because they have everything there? but no one that wants to help.
Better Argos lol

Went a couple of times to look for fridge freezers. On both occasions, there were no staff on hand upstairs to ask any questions yet I counted 15+/- downstairs. As we left, we were asked if we needed any help, I said we'll we were looking at fridges but there was no one around to help. I was told, oh we've just swept up there and are closing soon. Not great customer service. We were dismissed because it was 20 minutes before they were closing. We were going to spend a substantial amount on a fridge freezer and a dishwasher. But we've now spent our money elsewhere. No wonder so many high street shops are closing if this is the level of customer service we've come to expect. I've worked in retail for over 30 years, your customers are the ones paying your wages so do not dismiss them at any time of the day. Will not be shopping at or recommending Currys again.
Currys...we are disappointed.

Wife bought a PS5 a year ago and was told extended warranty would be £12 for 3 years.
Now the controller is broken and the store has acknowledged this.
Went in store and all was looking good until the staff member saw the name of the employee on the receipt, he then informed my wife that the guy that sold it had been fired for miss selling warranty?s and that the repair and replace plan he sold was for the controller only and that the guy had been fired because he?d been doing this frequently to boost his ?numbers?.
They then informed my wife that because the PS5 was bought as a bundle and the warranty now only covered the controller they wouldn?t honour it! we was told the best they could do was refund the £12.
My concern is if this has happened to us that there may be many many others who are working walking around with Ashford Curry?s products thinking they have adequate cover when in fact they don?t.

Spent 45 minutes in the store around 6pm looking at TVs, not one member of staff walked up to me asking if we needed help or guidance. Ended up going home and buying the TV online elsewhere, not like the days of Comet or pre-covid retail where staff knew the products and helped assisting in making a considered purchase. Missed out on a £1k purchase there Currys!

I purchased a ASUS Zenbook Duo 14" 2 in 1 Laptop mid October away on a work trip. I was so busy that I had no time to use the laptop but only to purchase software I needed like office and antivirus.
I didn?t even realise my product was faulty and after the 30 day period I saw the second screen was warped and the keyboard was not sitting flat. I compared it to another product in store (same model) and knew I had a faulty product. I called and emailed Curry?s explainng the situation and asked for a replacement. I explained I was very busy and had no time to fully test the product and it?s such a unique laptop that I didn?t even realise it was faulty. Customer service said the 30 day period had passed and they cannot help but try to repair the item which will need to go to Asus for the repair. I explained I had purchased extended warranty with Asus and wanted to know if this would make a difference. I was advised to go straight to Asus because it would be quicker due to the fact that curry?s will have to send it to them.
Waited almost a month and Asus sent back the laptop with the same issue, no repair of the warped screen just replaced the keyboard. I was fuming with them and contacted curry?s because just as curry?s and Asus, they love making it seam like they know the law re: consumer rights act. I explained to curry?s that I was advised by customer service that this laptop would be repaired at Asus and told to send it to them directly as it would speed the process up. Under the consumer act, I have the right to request for a refund or replacement if a repair hasn?t been successful.
Store manager from curry?s says she will email me and never does. It?s been the worst experience and it?s the second time this has happened with curry?s. First time with a cooker that was faulty and not repaired; years ago and now recently with this laptop. John Lewis or other retailers are very helpful and care about abnormal circumstances because they do try to help and get the job done. Actually every other tech retailer I have dealt with has been worth the business. With curry?s it never is because their brand is weak and it?s clear that their business isn?t worth the time a day for any person who has an issue. Things are not black and white and problems like this are unique. People who deal with customers need to know what to do when something doesn?t go as straight as the procedure state.
I will never recommend, condone this company or do business with curry?s again. You?ll get ripped off if you?re faced with an issue. I have an expensive laptop that I can?t even use. My wife needed it for work and now we are stuck with a faulty product. Curry?s sends me to Asus, asus sends me to curry?s: the retailer but no one wants to help. Lazy staff who already have the answer No at the tip of their tongue who don?t listen or try to understand. Badly paid staff do not care about customers. Terrible company. I hate the day I ever made the decision to buy from curry?s.
I hope you lose even more market share because as a company, you?re already degrading.

Customer service in this store is non existent. All the staff are too busy standing in a group, looking at phone screens. We requested help with two items, were infomed by the guy in the purple hi-vis that he would get another member of staff to help. We waited...and waited and asked him again. By the blank look on his face he had clearly forgotten. Too busy looking at his mobile with his mates. I'm afraid Amazon got my money again! We had a similar experience in your aylesford store recently, I'm amazed Currys hasn't gone the same way as Comet yet.
