I've visited this hostelry three times in the last eighteen months, before the change over and recently. We visited for luncheon at every occasion and found the menu with a good selection to choose from. Surroundings give it a lovely atmosphere and staff are what you expect to find. Brilliant location for our overnight stay, great service and very friendly staff. Very peaceful and quiet with a nice outdoor seating area with its own bar. Great stay here.

Stayed one night here after trip to Chapel Down winery, and before visit to Sissinghurst Castle. Food was 10/10. Top restaurant food at pub prices. Pie of the day was duck and pear….delicious.
