Excellent Service
"The service at The Blue Anchor is excellent!" The staff are polite and attentive, going above and beyond to provide a wonderful eating experience. Such a welcoming friendly atmosphere from owner, staff and locals. The menu was amazing and plenty of choice.
The Blue Anchor is such a charming building with a beautiful garden area. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Had to leave a review as the roast pork Sunday lunch was just SO good. Have eaten many such meals at countless establishments in my time and have learned to be quite fussy - but the food here really does rank among the very best. Perfectly cooked meat and tasty vegetables with the cauliflower cheese especially good. Calamari starter with the lime and chilli sauce was beautiful too. All very reasonably priced and served up with a smile. Deserve to be very proud of The Blue Anchor, would def return. Thank you

This is a cute local pub in Smeeth (Ashford) close to where we are staying. We liked the menu, so we decided to try it out. We did not realize that most places are closed on Mondays. They were open, but no food. We had a beer and enjoyed talking with some of the locals. Time won't allow us to make it there for dinner on this trip, so maybe next time.

We booked for a Saturday night. The dining area is quite small and most people were there for the live music. It was loud but it was a really nice vibe and we loved the atmosphere. The food was great value and tasty, I had a burger and my partner had the pie. Both were fresh, large portions and delicious. Finished it off with a sticky toffee pudding!
What really stood out was the service. The staff were so friendly and welcoming.
We?d definitely go back.

Dropped by for a Sunday lunch here and was greeted by welcoming staff and a great reasonably priced roast. Speedy service and lovely local village pub vibes. Would recommend!

Enjoyable meal , home made chicken and gamon pie and plenty of it . Played the quiz after and that was fun . Very hot in the pub but well worth a visit

Only went in for a couple of pints early doors on a Monday. Was well presented and bar staff friendly.

11 of us booked in for a Christmas dinner.
They were ready for us, served us promptly with hot, great tasting food, and checked up on us (all good).
Jo and her team didn't keep us waiting at all. Even the bill was very reasonable.
Great atmosphere, good beer, everything was positive.
