Yeah, I'll be honest, I was a bit disappointed overall
Menu was simple/tempting
Burgers were lovely
Onion rings good
But, chunky chips underdone (the insides were quite hard/unpleasant) and service was pretty average - weren't asked why, there were big stacks of chips left on the plates and main plates/empty glasses weren't cleared by the time desserts arrived.
Maybe just an unlucky visit. Will see next year when we're back on the island

Fabulous dining here at the cow. The service was fantastic the food was full of flavour and presented perfectly the dirty fries were awesome. The burgers were juicy and full of flavour by far the best burger I've had on the island. The whole table thoroughly enjoyed their food and deserts. Free table water aswell is a fantastic touch even the lemon and lime slices were put in the correct drinks as an ex bartender this was a very nice touch that gets forgotten far to much in my opinion. I would highly recommend a meal here for the family if your looking for a nice place to eat with some amazing deals.

Great rustic restaurant, we?ve eaten here a few times and always been very happy with the food and lovely staff.
My only criticism is that the toilets are a let down - not very clean or well serviced which is a shame for an otherwise very nice restaurant.
FYI The steaks are lovely and the baby back ribs are amazing!!!

really disappointed with our visit yesterday as this used to be our favourite eatery and standards have dropped so much.
menu is very small with not much variety and is now so overpriced for the quality of the food
i had the cheesesteak sandwich which was meant to be served medium rare which came out well done, my partners burger and our side also came out just warm - no staff came to check on our food and all seemed too interested in everything else for us to get their attention to rectify.
service has also worsened, and the atmosphere isn?t what it was.
we won?t be returning unfortunately, really disappointing :(

Standards have dropped massively. £20 for a bland burger, drowning in cheap bbq sauce. Paid almost £60 for lunch and we left most of it. Rosemary fries with not a hint of actual rosemary. Whoever chooses the music blasting through the speaker to the outside is clearly trying to scare away the wasps.

A great little restaurant on the IOW. Famous for burgers but the steak and chips was as good as any I?ve had in posh London steak restaurants that cost double the price. Also the peppercorn sauce was the best I?ve ever had.
Owner is an Arsenal fan too so capped off a lovely meal.

Lovely place to eat, beef burgers are amazing. Chicken one was okay but definitely go for beef.
A bit overpriced. We paid £61 for what is in the pic ( 2 burgers, 1 starter and 2 drinks)

Amazing food, really top notch! Gluten free options brilliant, You can opt for GF bap or no bun....if you go no bun, they reduce the price slightly which is fantastic considering the number of places that charge the same! Thoroughly recommend everything!

We had a lovely time in the restaurant.
We ordered the Sunday roast and we can say it was the best we have had.
Big portions and super yummy
The space is big and bright.
Nice staff and parking space on the door step.
