Nice place, cozy seating. Menu ok if a little limited. Burger was really good, as was the fish pie. Rack of ribs not so good. Decent choice of drinks, including local beers. Dog friendly. Service pretty good.

Very central location, traditional old school pub in the centre of town. We ordered the fish and chips and the scampi and chips.
Good atmosphere and generous portions. Had a slightly higher expectation considering where we were so just a 4 star review I’m afraid.
