We were told on ordering that there would BD a wait of an hour. We happily went to the pub to wait. Returned 55 minutes later to be told they were running late. 45 minutes later our order was ready. Luckily the cod and chips were delicious. Skinless cod that was cooked well in a crispy batter. Chips were on the right side of crunchy. So be prepared to wait far longer than you are told even if you order online.

Best fish and chips eaten for years. The fish selection box was delicious. Not too pricey. Cooked to order, you will need to wait. However, gives you time to wander and browse the shop windows! Order in advance to avoid the wait outside.

very dissapointed, had medium cod and chips more batter than fish , staff rude and waited forever! and overpriced to say the least, toilets were filthy no toilet paper would recommend at all

I popped in when we were out and about on a Friday lunchtime, it?s up a little road off the square and has a sandwich board outside the door.
The young girl serving was friendly and polite she said that the food would be around 10 minutes wait as everything is cooked fresh.
I ordered battered sausage,fish cake and small chips to take away, after a short while my name was called out.
We drove round to the car park by the harbour to eat lunch.
Everything was hot and delicious can?t fault it at all you lost a star for atmosphere simply because it was so quiet in the restaurant and people were eating maybe put a radio on in the background it would improve the ambience ?.

Large cods were a good size and tasted good
Shame about the chips. They tasted like reheated ,hard and tasteless . Chips not recommended

As you would expect from a seaside fish & chip shop - excellent product. I live inland and I would say this is 3 times better than my local.

Take away fish finger sandwich, crab sandwich and chips were utterly divine. Clearly prepared with respect for the seafood. Had to wait for 10 minutes as they prepare the food when ordered. Brilliant.

Apparently, a large chips...
And I had to check on them for my order. Which was just waiting in the kitchen with a load of others.
Food wasn't too bad, but not worth the price as it was quite expensive...

Small portions. Slow service. Didn't even tell me my order was ready and I stood next to it for 15 minutes before I checked the waiting orders myself. Not great quality either.

Delicious fresh fish and good chips. Love the curry sauce too. Good value for money.
