Booked in 17 for an early works Christmas meal . Superb communication for booking. On the night everything organised really well , staff happy , polite and very attentive. Meals all came out at the right time , all together and hot ! Plentiful sized portions and dietary needs well met . Everyone in the group had empty plates and all thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Tables dressed for Christmas , with crackers and mince pies to follow which was a nice little touch. 10/10 for presentation, service , food , atmosphere et all !

Excellent! We were a party of six including a coeliac, a dairy-intolerant and a child. There was plenty of choice for everyone and two of the dishes were adapted to suit us (which is good because I think I might have cried if I couldn't have had the pork belly!) Good, friendly service, great, imaginative food, nice ambiance. We will be back.

The Woodmans Arms provided our family with a wonderful dining experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming and attentive, ensuring we were well taken care of throughout our meal. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of options that catered to all tastes. Every dish was well-prepared, fresh, and full of flavor. The cozy, friendly atmosphere made the experience even more enjoyable. We had a lovely time and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend for a great family meal!

If you are looking for a venue for an occasion. I highly recommend the Woodmans. We recently held my mums wake here and the buffet was amazing, catering for vegetarian as well as other special diet requirements.

We popped here for lunch today on the off chance they could fit us in as we had spent the morning at the nearby Monkey and Owl Sanctuary.
Thankful they could as it turned out to be a brilliant lunch. Warm welcome, specials were pointed out to us straight away. Table service with no waiting. Drinks ordered and arrived quickly. Food was hot, tasted delicious and portion sizes were spot on. A small special request due to two slightly fussy children was accommodated without an issue. Just a Lovely atmosphere, great service and great food.
Felt like we stumbled across a hidden gem here. Highly recommend and thank you to the staff for a lovely lunch.

I visited the Woodmans Arms last evening for their steak night and was very impressed with the establishment.
The service was exceptional, and the food was of the highest quality.
My family and I will definitely return to dine there again and will recommend it to anyone seeking a pleasant dining experience.

Been refurbished and has a new team. They are excellent, very helpful, good food, good value. Definitely worth a try if local or on holiday.
