Next to the toilets ?that's in the hallway You can buy books ? just put a donation in the box and in the pub itself a very beautiful big fireplace ? and in the other part of the pub it the games room and the garden ? where children can play

Would of given 5* if food didn't take over an hour and my burger was very tough onto due to it being under a hot plate id say to keep warm waiting for our other orders to all come together.. could be a little goldmine in managed properly especially as its a tourist isle

Vile food, £18 for a frozen piece of fish, tried to over charge by £21 for drinks we had already paid for, half empty but was told food would be 45 minuets, can't believe it takes that long to deep fry frozen fish lol stay well clear of here

Absolutely awful experience. The cod was the driest fish we?ve ever eaten. Cheap version of a Birds Eye. Couldn?t even eat it. We told a member of staff how awful 2 of the 4 meals were and when the other member came to take the bill she didn?t even apologise never mind take even £1 off the bill. Would never come again. 45 minute wait for awful food too.

We had a wake here and we felt very well looked after. The area zoned off for us was cosy and plenty of seats. Staff were really good and there was plenty of food.

Strange experience. Walked into a fairly quiet bar last night for some dinner. The chap who I assume was the chef in whites walked passed us a number of times before walking into the kitchen and at no point did he acknowledge us.
The bearded chap behind the bar we could not get his attention as was playing on his phone and swatting flies, along along with someone cleaning cutlery. I called for some sort of attention a number of times to be served but with no success so after five to six minutes we left and went to another pub. Disappointed all round but they had plenty of parking!! Zero for service and one for atmosphere as looked like a nice pub. And unable to score anything for food.

Lovely people and friendly atmosphere. Went for Sunday lunch and am afraid that the food was underwhelming. The pork roast was nice, but with razor thin slices. The beef was plentiful, but the slices were dry and so chewy that both my wife and daughter gave up. I took over, but had to give in after a few bites. Felt like they had been defrosted and warmed up from last week.....
The food from the main menu was great, it was just that we came for a nice Sunday roast.

Lovely pub. Well kept beer, delicious food and nice service. They had good live music when we were there too. Our food was a little slow and they gave us a delicious pudding as compensation. Very nice place.

Advertising on website states that people have been known to travel a considerable distance to eat here....glad we didn't because they stopped serving food at 3pm and that certainly wasn't advertised! Sort your website out!
