If you looking for a decent pub meal this is your place.
Staff are friendly and helpful and the food was to be honest better than I expected.
I had a southern fried chicken burger with and extra chicken breast and it tasted really nice, unfortunately if you want more BBQ sauce you have to pay for it at the bar...this was a bit of a let down but nether the less it was very nice. Food came out within about 30mins.
We will definitely be going there again over the next few days as their menu is really good.
They do a carvery every which did look amazing.
Definitely give this pub a go, it shouldn't disappoint.

Great carvery, well cooked. Burgers & Mac'n'cheese are good value, kids eat the lot. Very helpful & friendly staff. Good idea to book as there is currently que for a table at 1300 on a Sunday.
Make sure your hungry before ordering the works at the carvery!

Food very salty and carvery vegetables had been out for a long time, peas all dried up. Very dark in the restaurant and garden area very messy. Staff quite cheerful and helpful. View out the back was definitely the best bit.

Great food great service. More importantly I forgot to register my car. As a result I got a fine notice, I contacted the sloop and spoke to Janelle who could not have been more helpful at a busy time of day she took my details and cancelled the penalty immediately. Very cheerful voice. Great service.

Service friendly and quick from Emma. Food was lovely, we timed it perfectly with a fresh joint of Turkey and gammon plus replenished veg and gravy! All hot and plentiful. Great view across the water. Would recommend ?

Booked for 430pm seated before so earlier was better. Ordered drinks off the app and got the drinks and carvery slips with it. Chef was comical happy guy, plenty of choice for the carvery. Piping hot nice flavours. Enjoyed the view around the back viewing the yachts and ducks, swans in the moorings.

Honestly one of the worst meals on the island had the carvery and it was rank the meat was flavourless the stuffing was stodgy pile of rubbish all the veg was bone dry and and crispy with no flavour even the gravy was bland I mean come on have you ever heard of salt it?s was a waste of time money and I do not recommend to anyone
