Probably one of my favourite restaurants on the island and definitely in West Wight. Ady runs a great place and the staff are a credit to him. All vey lovely, polite and friendly, we are always made to feel welcome and well looked after without ever being crowded out.
The food is delightful and if your are gluten (and dairy) free like me, you are still spoilt for choice with a wonderful array of offerings in the menu.
Did I forget to mention that it is right on Solent and very dog friendly - amazing!

Just had drinks but a lovely view and friendly staff
Could have done with more outdoor seating on the lower part as not ideal to go up for people with mobility issues

The Waterfront is fabulous. Lovely restaurant with the most beautiful view. The service is friendly at attentive. The menu is pretty wonderful though. Classics done well and the specials and extras show a chef who loves what they do. Atmosphere was bubbly and pleasant. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of food. Don?t fight your way into The Hut, The Waterfront is the same view and more for much less.

On holiday found the Waterfront bar Beautiful setting
Clean toilets
Smiley staff
Generous potions ... I couldn't finish mine. (So couldn't try a dessert!)
I had Fish and Chips £19 & my husband had Scampi and Chips £19.50.
We enjoyed our meal.
But were shocked to see a hygiene rating of 3.

Walked into an almost empty restaurant, all people waiting on food at 14:35. But the kitchen closed at 14:30, so no opportunity to get food for my elderly parents. Shame there was no flexibility.
The view is nice and the other staff were very pleasant.

Good food but staff attitude leaves a lot to be desired. They wasn?t friendly and walked with angry faces . A specially Asian( no names on them ) lady she even didn?t ask did she should take a plates . Very rude behaviour. We ate very quickly and to be honest we wanted to leave as soon as possible. Only elderly lady was quite friendly, even tried to jokes. Otherwise manager should train the team how to politely serve a guests.

Terrible attitude.
Told us they were at capacity .
Maybe 20 people in there if that .
Then said kitchen was closed .
Got drinks as we paid ..
Oh other end carpark they do food ?.
Make of that what you will .
Won?t be returning or recommending.
Very difficult to got to by car ..
The only good thing about the place is the view and you don?t have to pay for that ??

Stopped for an ice cream whilst out walking. Gorgeous gorgeous ice cream right on the sea front.
