Nice place to spend the day... beach view... everything

One of the best places to visit on Isle of wight. Can easily spend half a day within this place with lots of activities. Chairlift and boat ride would be expensive but worth once in a life time experience.

Beautiful natural landmark and the chair lift and boat trip was lovely. The children also enjoyed making a sand filled reminder of the day. The carousel was very disappointing. My horse didn't go up and down although it should have done, worst carousel I've ever been on. Two small cups of coffee were over £8 which was excessive in my opinion. As national trust members we were entitled to reduced parking but this was not advertised. The Needles Battery was very good and well worth a visit, a shuttle bus between the two attractions would have been good. Unfortunately we couldn't afford the £30+ bus fare on the open top bus for the short ride back.

It was expensive and outdated however the views and beach were lovely if a bit crowded.

Really great visit, went early and wasn't disappointed. Queues quickly developed though by lunch time. Lots of rubbish around the car park and on the beach below.

Total tourist trap with the shops, rides, and food outlets all overpriced. We phoned in advance (an hour before arrival) to ask if the boats were running, which was the purpose of our trip, to which they said they were, but then when we got there they weren't. So, a wasted trip and I wouldn't rush back. Nice seeing the needles from a distance though!

Our visit to The Needles was unfortunately spoiled by an appalling interaction with one of the staff members.
We were directed to park by a steward and, upon leaving our vehicle, another member of staff abruptly ordered us to move our car, claiming we were blocking disabled parking. Their tone was extremely rude ? no manners, no ?please? or ?thank you? ? just outright disrespect. There were other cars already parked in the same area, so we had no reason to think we were in the wrong. We moved our car as instructed right away and the staff member was continuously disrespectful to us.
The way we were spoken to was completely unacceptable and left our whole group disappointed. Tourists should be treated with basic courtesy, and staff should be trained to communicate appropriately. This incident took away from what should have been an enjoyable trip.

My son and I hopped on the open-topped Needle Breezer connection bus at Yarmouth and enjoyed one of the most scenic bus rides we?ve been on in the UK to the Needles Point attraction site. Once there we took the stairs down to the beach while being awed by the panoramic views around us. We also took the 20-minute boat trip to see The Needles Rocks and Lighthouse, and Alum Bay's colored sands, costs £10 per person from Needles Pleasure Cruises. This trip is a slower, scenic cruise that includes a commentary and views of the surrounding coast. Highly recommend.

What a place! The views are absolutely breathtaking. You can walk along the top of the cliffs to see the Needles from above, or you can catch a bus. There is a fort to visit where you can purchase drink and food in the quaint cafe. You can also learn about the one and only Rocket Programme of the UK, and view the test pits. You can walk down or take the chair lift down to Alum Bay where you can take a boat ride to see the Needles and view the coloured sands in the cliffs. There is amusements near the car parks and toilets, a cafe, and a gift shop.
