I cannot fault this opticians. After an extremely traumatising appt with Specsavers (whom I had always used in the past), I went to Hazel Smith Opticians and everything from the check in to the appointment to the aftercare is like night and day by comparison.Mr Ebrahim Jeewa is so knowledgeable and helpful. The appointment now feels important and a serious medical check of my eyes rather than a 10 minute appointment where essentially they just want to upsell you glasses (Specsavers!). I have been on their books for a few years now and I?d never go back to a ?high street? opticians again. Thank you Mr Jeewa and team.

Forty minutes before leaving on a coach excursion discovered my wife?s glasses had broken . Finding this optician on line we hurried down to be greeted by the most helpful receptionist who quickly got the resolved and we were on our way with no charge . The service was excellent and we happily gave donation to local charity without being asked . Thank you so much for excellent service .

My colleague was very upset when she rang for an appointment on Monday morning-she asked for an appointment for a specific date and was told ?NO?-with no explanation or alternative dates.very rude and unprofessional

Broke my glasses while on holiday. They were very helpful and replaced my old lenses into new frames. Saved my holiday. Couldn't thank them enough.

Amazing service - My daughter broke her glasses on the first day of our holiday. They have a technician on site who could reshape the lenses to fit a new pair, although we managed to find the same set as we had originally. In a few minutes we had a brand new pair of glasses and a huge smile on my daughter?s (and my) face. All of the staff were amazingly helpful and I really couldn?t rate them any higher. Thank you all so much!

brilliant service, I wear bifocals but wanted to revisit contact lenses so made appointment for another lesson. went this morning and it was like chalk and cheese. Can now put them in and remove them so much easier than a few years ago. Delighted, thrilled, super service, thank you so much

What a great opticians. They really treated me with kind respect. They were very thorough. The lovely receptionist kept an eye on my dog tied up outside. The optician was lovely and friendly and professional. I'm so glad that I went there.

In a world of convenience and "just good enough", it's always a pleasure to receive great professional service. As a member of the healthcare professions, it's always interesting to see how others conduct themselves and the professionalism they demonstrate. Ebrahim has just demonstrated that professionalism and courtesy can be combined with great clinical skill; his explanation before every step and discussion of my needs was exemplary.
