We had a really lovely meal here in the ?fancy? bit of the restaurant for my husbands birthday meal. The food was all delicious and the waitress was so kind and helpful and quick. Extremely professional service. We would highly recommend.

Accommodating and friendly staff, pleasant surroundings, excellent location and decent food.The Seaview Hotel restaurant served a lovely dinner and it was extremely refreshing not to have avocado-with-everything.Nearby activities: A very short walk to the large beachFood & drinks: Excellent traditional food with a good vegetarian selection.Noteworthy details: The Pump Bar has a wide selection of photos and historical artefacts which would be of interest to anyone with a Naval bent.Vegetarian options: Wife is vegetarian and was quite happy with the selection available.Parking: There are a surprising number of spaces to the rear of the hotel, considering how old and cramped Seaview as a village is. There were also electric car charging points.

Barely any options for vegans, I had the roast and there was no vegan alternative like a nut roast or anything. All I had on my plate was mashed potato (that was cold) some green beans and roast potatoes, there were vegetables for the table but that was all.I had ordered a milk alt latte for myself and a regular latte for my partner before deserts for the table arrived, desert came and went for the table with another person even ordering a coffee which arrived quickly. In the end I told them not to bother because by the time they would have arrived the rest of the party would be leaving.Everyone else was happy with their food.Vegetarian options: Barely any

It's really nice here. Chefs are more than willing to make a nice vegan dish, plenty choice and a well stocked bar. All staff are REALLY friendly and the views outside are stunning

Small dining room was a bit noisy but the food and service was very good. Appropriate wines at reasonable prices. Desserts were especially yummy. Great breakfast the following morning.Vegetarian options: Good options. The onion tart Tatin was very good but not for vegans d/t host cheese which I suppose could be deleted on request.Parking: Very small private parking in the rear. More available on the street in front. Tesla Destination Chargers available but unreliable.Wheelchair accessibility: Good access for dining, limited room accommodation available.

Through Michelin's Guide we came across Aquitania restaurant. We called and made a booking for two which was accommodated quite well on a very short notice. The two stars which I have given are only due to the fact they accommodated us on a very short notice and the customer service was excellent. If it was for the food I would have given them 0 stars as it was beyond my imagination that a Michelin star restaurant would serve food like this. The portions were too big and there was no flavour at all in any of the dishes that came out from the kitchen. My starter was soo big that it could easily feed four and all of the dishes that followed were totally bland. It was appalling to me that the worst restaurant that I would be eating in Isle of Wight would be a Michelin star restaurant.Vegetarian options: There are at least three main vegetarian dishes present in the menu.Parking: Parking is not available on site. But there is parking available close by.

Drove from the other side of the Island to the Seaview Hotel for lunch, and frankly wish we had not bothered. As the weather was overcast and whilst we would have preferred to dine outside we asked if we could eat inside. We were told we could not eat in the ?bistro? as we had our Westie with us and had to go and eat in the Pump Bar.We all ordered our food and I have got to say my fish and chips were the worst I have ever eaten. Their fryer must have been off or cold and the batter was barely cooked and very pale. One of our party had the burger and that was barely edible! The service was just average and far from welcoming.Once upon a time the Seaview was the place to go on the Island where the food and service was excellent. It certainly isn?t today and we will not return. it is such a shame.
