0, if I could. Thank God, they are selling. This with the Channel View Hotel in Sandown have the rudest managers and staff one can find in that beautiful island where most lcals are adorable. Furthermore the location is awful as Broadway is the main road to go back to catch a ferry towards Fishbourne or Ryde or an hovercraft. One can barely cross the road. Just away from the place or wait until it changes landlords. It's no wonder they have to sell from the way they treated us.

Had a lovely stay here for 5 nights for scooter rally weekend. Very friendly owners. Full English breakfast each morning as required. Rooms made up as and when required. Plenty of parking spaces. Great base for seeing the island.

Just to warn others, this B&B is For Sale/Sold, which may explain what I'm going to say, and possibly why. First impression not good when seeing "For Sale" signs outside, overgrown front garden, and empty drive. To all purposes the B&B looked actually closed.....it of course wasn't. The interior was dingy, looked dirty, and looked in need of extensive TLC. My room on the first floor was described, and pictured on the booking site, as a Single Superior room. I felt it was anything but......very small, although it did have a double bed, I should add, with a rather old uncomfortable mattress, and a Fridge located in the wardrobe !! (it wouldn't have fitted anywhere else, .....but an all out safety hazard). Many parts of the room had seemingly not been cleaned for ages, thick dust & grime in places. To be fair, the one shining light was the breakfast area, and breakfast which was superb and served quickly, and nicely, on every day I stayed there, in fact the only reason I have given this property a rating of two and not one. In view of the other positive reviews, this B&B must have some good points, but I didn't see them !

Perfect accommodation for the festival weekend. Breakfast was our main meal of the day and we were certainly looked after. Hunger was kept at bay right through to early evening. When we arrived and saw the sold sign, and it was explained that they were indeed selling up, there was a little nervousness that our stay might be marred by an attitude of ?it doesn?t matter now? but that certainly wasn?t the case. Well done to the owners on maintaining their caring attitude towards their guests as they work the final weeks. If you were there next year I?d have booked again.

Room was comfy and just what i needed, enough plugs to put in my computer and phone charger, a mini fridge to store booze. The owner was friendly and showed me around the hotel. the internet was a bit flakey but then again i didn't travel miles just to be online all day long. so not an issue. location wise it was quiet enough, a short walk to the seafront and shops, if you want to go further then the train station and bus stops are not too far away.

Although at first glance the Westfield looks a bit tired., it has many redeeming features. The room though small was very well equipped with derails such as a mini drinks fridge, plenty of coat hangars. Real filter coffee with a caffetiere , real non UHT milk in the fridge and drinking water. Plenty of hot drink options with biscuits.
No horrid little mini wrapped soaps but a dispenser for shampoo, shower gel and conditioner.
The room was not air conditioned but had a ceiling fan.
Although breakfast was not said to be included, cereal ,toast and a
beverage were and a cooked breakfast could be purchased. The dining room was light ,spacious and modern
Another feature was the sign saying not to eat take aways in the room but have them in the communal areas where cutlery would be provided.
Parking was available and a 5 minute walk took one to the esplanade, restaurants and shops.
Would come here again.

Brilliant find, great value for money. Breakfast was lovely and our hosts particularly Barry and Martin were very welcoming. The rooms are so tidy; The gardens were beautiful. It's so quiet but really close to local attractions. We walked to the local pubs and cafeterias, had a lovely dinner each evening." You cannot meet better hosts than Barry and Martin.
