I was disappointed with their fish and chips (Fish and Fries on menu). I was served a very small piece of cod with a quite a big portion of skinny fries and a massive portion of mushed peas. The cod had no taste.
I would not recommend for fish and chips.

Amazing food, wonderful service. The fish was really good, it has a great kids menu (our 5 and 2 year old cleaned their plates) the gluten free options were great, could order so much off the menu. I'd particularly recommend the cajun salmon.

We visit IOW every year and have walked past this place a hundred times - went in on Wednesday evening for dinner & drinks. I had the prawn/salmon thai curry, which was lush, and my partner had the cajon chicken, which he scored a 10, and he never scores anything a 10! Service was very good and we would definitely return.

Our first night on the Isle of Wight . The service was great we were not rushed . We were not waiting long before meals arrived hot and tasty. All freshly cooked even salad was real fresh . Plus desert which was lovely . Would highy recommend and we will diff be back

Stopped over at The Reef for a delicious late lunch and had the special homemade tomato and bell-pepper tomato soup with a freshly-baked sun-dried tomato ciabatta on the side. It was the perfect light-lunch option I was craving for. Thank you for the great service and food.

I went to the Reef on the Isle. As soon as I stepped in I was amazed the restaurant was beautiful, the people are very nice and the service is great . The food is brilliant and delicious.

From the outside and with the sign it looks more like a bar I would have gone to in the 90s but because I was looking for places to eat in the area that were GF it popped up and the menu looked good.
We booked a table for our last day of our holiday and can honestly say we managed to save the best till last!
It's really difficult to find places that have a variety of GF choices available, even the deserts (bar one) was all GF which makes a change from ice-cream or the standard brownie.
For mains we had the sea bass, the sirloin steak with Stilton sauce, child's burger and chips and halloumi fries. With the exception of the child's burger all was GF.
It all got devoured and I mean devoured. My son loved the burger bun which looked really nice so much that when all the burger was gone he then added the chips to eat rather than leaving it like he normally would. The fries were very tasty so much so both my partner and son wouldn't let a scrap be found.
For desert we had profiteroles (GF) and new York cheesecake (GF) and my son had the malteaser cake which was like 2 slabs of brownie with malteasers in with 2 scoops of ice-cream.
The total including drinks (peroni(GF), appletiser and a diet coke) was just under £100 but portions and quality of food (and GF options) made it totally worth it and would definitely go there again.

We were hungry and decided to give it a go. We are so glad we did.
Although it was busy, they fitted 3 of us in, straight away.
We had the Sea Bass, homemade Pizza Carne, and the Lamb Pita. All of them were excellent, really enjoyed them, plus the 2 desserts we polished off as well.
The 2 girls that served us were very pleasant, chatty, and efficient, which is great to see. A great night.
