On the good side , it had good quality clean sheets and towels. The rooms ( family ) were clean . Only a short walk to the beach and parking although limited . Had we moved the car once booked in possibly no parking left as the spaces were gone quickly . It was expensive ( more than the Premier Inn on the sea front .) Where we had breakfast . But as a last minute booking we had no choice . The rooms were dated and the lock on the door was broken . As was one of the lights above a bed . These 2 issues were fixed though . The man on reception was pleasant . The beds were not comfortable and the bathroom was tiny and needed a refurbishment . My main concern was the fire doors being kept open on hooks . I didnt see any fire alarms but may not have noticed them . Also no fire plan of the building , we were on the top floor . There was no one in reception after 9 or 10 can't remember but the was ok as we had a key and there was a mobile number if needed. Wouldn't stay here again due to the fire issues and the uncomfortable beds

The beds were so comfy. The rooms were spacious. The service was the best I've ever had. The waitress was so kind. The location was near the beach and near a pier with an arcade. For me 5 star

The hotel food is very bad and the hotel staff look scary and have rotten teeth and the bed had wee in it and the bathroom shower came apart and fell on my head and I have a concussion 0 stars if I could.

Very comfortable and pleasant stay for a low rate. Staff are very nice and the room was clean and tidy. The shower had good pressure and gave hot water on demand. The hotel is conveniently placed very close to both the seafront and local train station.

Me and the family (3 kids) stayed here last summer, the place inside is very old fashioned, but the location is good (5 mins to beach ) parking directly outside but limited spaces.When we visited the bar area wasn?t open at all maybe due to Covid I?mNot sure but this hotel has potential to be really good and the owners or staff are very friendly.I would go back .Nearby activities: Beach close by

It is a good hotel the food is DELICIOUS but in some rooms there is no hot water and the rooms are chilly. From the room 20 there is an amazing view of the ocean ?. Globally it was good ?.

No wifi on upstairs?? we stayed for 2 days with 8 people they also Asking for wifi but staff say its just work on ground floor. Another things is ok and also no have indian chanel on tv box otherwise hotel is good plz

It was amazing I stayed there with brockswood school for a residential I stayed in room twenty eight on the very top floor I will say that you could have separated the beds because ther were so close together but the food was absolutely amazing and the staff were very nice I would 100%stay again

Terrible hotel, Would highly reccomend not to stay here as there were too many problems. First of all, one of the workers seemed to be smoking 24/7 and the only welcoming workers seemed to be a young couple who both worked in the kitchen. Secondly, the matresses had noticable stains on them, I mentioned this to a worker and they admitted it was spilt curry from a cleaner, surely a cleaner would clean up THERE OWN MESS. The bed sheets (that were actually table cloths) were sandy and the cleaner told us the sheet hadn't been changed since the previous stay, I found this disgusting. The cleaner would welcome themselves into our hotel room, and to be honest it wasn't a hotel it was a victorian workhouse dormitory but I think I would rather stay in one of them than that monstrosity. Aswell as all this, the decoration looked horrible, I thought that I had accidentally got lost at a jumbo sale. Finally, the floorboards where extremely creaky and the shower was clogged up, aswell as this, warm and cold water was the same temperature, a fully working bathroom was the least that I was expecting.It was the most reppelant hotel I have ever stayed at, the only half decent thing there was the food but it was too expensive.

Me the wife and three kids stayed here for three nights. Very good price , room was clean and was cleaned each day. Place feels quite dated. Staff very friendly and always around should you need help or advice. Parking is limited but outside the main door around 5-6 cars . Happily go again

Room was outdated and bathroom was grubby. Soap still left in shower from previous guest. Walls are really thin and the lounge that you can chill in doesn?t allow food or drink so you have to go back to your small room. No-one on site during the night only a mobile to ring if you have issues. I had no hot water in the bathroom good job really as I didn?t fancy the shower

Room, bed, WiFi, shower, TV, and price all good.Had to run the tap for a while before warm water arrived and that was the only negative.
