From entering this lovely chip shop we were greeted by a lovely member of staff, she was so friendly and helpful.
Our food was piping hot and so so tasty. The portions were very generous and completely filled us up.
I would recommend this place to anyone, it was well worth the journey.

A lovely time! Went here on the 6th June .. National Fish and Chip day (one of 4 according to the staff) at 6pm. Really nice and relaxed. There is a seating area as well as the takeout part but you can be comfortable and well looked after. Really good portions so go easy even if you do like mushy peas, but then again they are tasty. Thank you for a lovely meal :-)

We?ve just had delicious fish and chips here with our two small children. The food was very tasty, big portion sizes, friendly and efficient staff, and space for our early family tea (high chair available).

We went here on a cold wet day while on holiday and from the moment we walked in we knew this was a great place to eat.
The lady who welcomed us in was lovely and friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. A family of 5 (2xadults and 3kids) all had something and all meals were brought out in 10 mins, were hot and fresh and the portion sizes were perfect.

Usually a massive fan of wights , historically the best fish and chips on the island but today it was beyond a disappointment. Clearly frozen fish that was hardly even possible to distinguish whether it was cod or some other white fish. Chips were also not up to the top standard and were rock solid. Love this place usually but will not bother for a while.

Ordered fish chips and a burger. The chips were hard and cold. The burger was disgusting i told the cashier twice not to put cheese in it and she put cheese in it. The fish was hard. Would not feed it to my dog. Will not return

We had the Wight Whale - large cod, chips, home-made tartar sauce, Mushy peas and bread & butter, washed down with a big pot of tea each. Absolutely wonderful meal, possibly the best fish 'n' chips that we've ever had. My fiancée doesn't like tartar sauce, but loved it here and the mushy peas were great too. Lovely, crispy battered fish and masses of chips.
An old-fashioned restaurant, with friendly, efficient service. We were told that this is the best place in Ryde for fish 'n' chips, and it is!
