Despite getting a confirmation email with the correct details when I got to Specsavers at Ryde they weren't expecting me.Complete waste of a Saturday morning.Won't go there again.

What an absolute disgrace to customer service. I booked an eyetest, ordered glasses, after receiving them i immediatelly had a headache and they really didn't feel right. They told me to come back in the afternoon for a retest, where i have been told my eyesight is most likely between new and old perscription, i just need to get used to new glasses. I had test done somewhere else and as expected my perscription from Specsavers Ryde was not right. I went back to the store to return my glasses and get a refund today and all staff were busy staring at the floor while I was there, i did get my refund, but never got a sorry for all the wasted time and their mistake. ...which could potentially damage my eyesight!

Am very impressed by the expertise and friendly manner of the optician, Gary. I was worried about a problem with my right eye, but was re-assured - thanks to the thoroughness of his testing (which he talks you through) and the state-of-the-art technology used for the optical test equipment. All the staff/receptionists are excellent - very friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Brilliant. Lovely helpful people that went the extra to help and explain everything and put me at ease. Very helpful with choosing frames. Very pleased with how they suit my face. Very happy that I got the anti glare coating. Makes a real difference to me.

Staff friendly and accommodating. Optician service excellent. Time was spent answering my questions after my eye test etc. There was no rushing. Highly recommend.

My Grandma in her 90?s booked a mobility scooter as she doesn?t know the island didn?t know how she would be using it. He decided as she said she would stay local to give us a massive one. When we needed to change it he came across as impatient and very rude and charged us 15 pounds for the privilege! I would never use him again.

Booked an appointment online to see the optician, this was easy and straightforward. The first appointment was 3 weeks away, but worth the wait. At the store i was seen by the pre assessment lady and the optician, both friendly and professional, using the latest equipment.

For years it was fine under the Directorship of Tim Kidd. Since his retirement it has gone downhill to the point where some staff seem to resent customers. I think my family visited for well over 30 years. I do not like what it has become.

My daughters glasses were hurting her behind the ears, so popped in with her to get them adjusted. When entering at one point 2 people were serving one customer near the entrance, so there was a little wait. However once one of the ladies at the back noticed us waiting she came straight away and was very friendly. She looked at my daughters glasses and adjusted them for her and checking whether they fit properly. Some of the staff there are excellent but there are the odd ones that I find a little rude and don?t seem to notice that customers are waiting.

What an absolute joke. Booked an appointment for Sunday for an eye test. Arrived at appointment to find the store closed. I'd recieved all emails and text to confirm my appointment prior.Popped in today to see why I wasn't contacted my time was wasted and then to potentially re book but was greeted with very rude unhelpful and non friendly staff saying I should of known it wasn't open on a Sunday as they had no staff..When I said why is your system letting us book Sunday appointments (as re scheduled appointment for a different day) three members of staff chimed in with no actual explanation. NO APOLOGY WHAT SO EVER FOR TIME WASTING OR NO CONTACT. Just a rude staff member trying to date our date of births.No phone call prior to say my appointment would need to be moved.The attitude on your staff SUCKS! Some customer service skill based courses would be beneficial I think for you all.Won't ever use Specsavers again with that attitude. Business elsewhere for a full family who have previously only used your services.

My first visit to Ryde Specsavers! Received the best service from Clara and Anya! I find it really difficult finding the right style of glasses for my face. Clara was especially great in the frame selection going above and beyond to help me. And Anya was helpful in explaining lens options. Both lead to an amazing experience and will definitely be returning in the future and Ps I love my new sunnies!

Hi. I'm really pleased with the customer service. They were very helpful and professional. I had the coating to help make things more crystal clear and I've always refused until now. Wow the coating makes a huge difference, imnso very happy with them. The staff were amazing, informative and knowledgable. I've tried several opticians over years but the staff at Ryde and the quality of glasses is why I won't go anywhere else. Sharon
