Cannot fault them. The staff in store are always efficient and helpful if I phone with any enquiries and since adopting their prescription delivery service I receive my medications promptly via friendly couriers. I fully intend to remain with Gibbs and Gurnell.

This review is entirely based on my experience of the pharmacist not any other member of staff.I went in on Tuesday 6th Feb at approximately 2pm and asked about a concern I had regarding my lip.On beginning the conversation he immediately jumped to the conclusion that I wanted antibiotics and cut me off mid sentence. I did not want antibiotics as I had just finished a course given to me at St Marys after my fall. I then tried again to explain that I was concerned about severe swelling inside my lip and merely wanted an opinion before I borher my gp . He again cut me off and continued to look over my shoulder while talking as if I didn't exist. He offered me absolutely no help and I left feeling like I had wasted his precious time. There was no one else queuing.Absolute disgraceful person . Rude and dismissive. Avoid at all costs. Shameful human being.

This chemist was so offensive towards me. And when I wanted to complain, the pharmacist strictly said he would band me If I dare complain about his unprofessional behaviour towards me. So in other words, keep quiet, otherwise get banned so it a Form of blackmail I will not tolerate and then when wanted to complain refusing to give me the correct email address to complain... When I rang back multiple times and asked different colleagues, the pharmacists had told them to slam the phone down on me without reason, all of them refused to give their details or the right email address for me to put in a correct complaint. So they denied me complaining and then blackmailed me. I will find the owner of this business and complained professionally, And your unprofessional behaviour is all recorded. My end so I will be sure to let your boss know. Let me tell you, you ve got no right to act in humane and act like a power tripper Eventually you ll meet people like me that Won't give up We ll not give up till the complaints Dealt with.. And you re not allowed to withhold medication over six days illegally and then be rude to customers when they question it. .. I have no medication because your pharmacy. And you've got the audacity to be rude to me. Mikey bed lay in it..

Went to the Pharmacy as it looked nice, the Pharmacist behind the counter was very rude and belittling, when I asked a simple question, the people working the counter couldn't help enough. Looked at some reviews for this place and noticed the same reviews, that the Pharmacist is rude. Avoid better off going to Boots. This place is a Joke.

Bought a Mason Pearson hairbrush from Gibbs and Gurnell today. They are, in my opinion, quite expensive but a top quality product and worth every penny. The last one I owned lasted for decades. I was sad to hear, from the very helpful shop assistant, that the only shop on the Isle of Wight to sell them may not continue to stock them in the future. I made a special journey from the south side of the Island rather than buy online to support local businesses.
