Everytime I call the surgery for an appointment seems impossible. First, it is difficult to someone pick up the phone. Second, they can only arrange appointments at 8am in the morning. 3rd never have available appointments until the following week which they are inconvenient... so we have to just go to St. Mary's hospital as a result.

Rude unhelpful receptionists

My dad was a patient here for some years. He developed a cough that wouldn't go away. He had many appointments for this over a period of about 2 years and was prescribed many different medicines from antibiotics to steroids, all had no effect. He wasn't asked to take any scans or other tests, just repeated courses of tablets. When his symptoms got worse I took him to the hospital and after some tests they found stage 4 lung cancer. I wish that the doctor had read the posters in his waiting room saying if you have a cough for more than 2 weeks it could be a sign of cancer.

I have been with this Practice for over ten years. I have to say that I have been dealt with in a professional, courteous, and caring manner. I have been contacted at home several times byDr. Sieger with test results and advice, this lady is the best GP I've ever met.I've also had outstanding treatment from Dr Poole thank youMost of the receptionists are friendly and helpful. The nurses are excellent. I believe we are lucky to have such good surgery.John Danbury

The woman working reception today Wednesday 21st 12pm should seriously re evaluate her life choices. Works at a surgery where people need help but is rude, Sarcastic and unhelpful. Fire her and find someone else

This surgery is very efficient and very professional. My husband and I are impressed with the level of care we have received since moving to this practice. No problems seeing the doctor and no long wait for a telephone call either. Such a relief. We feel we are now in very good hands.

I attempted to register at the GP surgery. She asked where I lived, and I said Seaview The receptionist advised they were a "small practice" and suggested registrating "elsewhere" such as Tower House or St Helens Practice. When questioned on this, given the website states that the surgery WAS taking in new patients, I was told they do not accept patients from Seaview. Again, when questioned on this, given the website states Seaview is within the catchment area, the receptionist checked with her colleague, who confirmed they DO accept patients from Seaview. Then, where hastily providing the application form, despite having a child with me, I was given only 1 application form.I had hoped to register here, given the good reviews, however this particular receptionist is obstructive, and a poor reflection on the surgery. We registered elsewhere with much better customer service.

Fantastic professionally run practise. 3 Amazing doctors. Couldn't fault the surgery, all reception and nurse staff very professional. Regardless of very difficult times, still running a brilliant service. Feel very thankful, because I know my life has been saved.Big thankyou to All.

We are consistently unable to get an appointment or any offer or care for our infant child. Just a rude recepionist that tells us they are booked for today, call again tomorrow only to hear the same day after day after day.

I have in the 2 years been happy with the practise...the nurses are excellent in every way....there is one very rude receptionist which spoils the team...Unfortunately I have had a problem with my repeat medication..un be knowing to myself it had been reduced without any consultation...so when I tried to order a repeat I was refused...Dr Pooke thought it ok to leave me without any for 6 days...had to phone 111....after 3 days I recieved medication....after making a complaint today still have not recieved any feedback....I willie moving surgery as I find this totally unacceptable.

The receptionist should understand that they don't have any medical skills or competences to tell you what medicine you should take or what you should do. They are very rude at the phone when one of their mainly job is actually replying at phone calls. Apparently I have been refused a over the counter medicine even though it should be free with a prescription for pregnant ladies like me. Doctor Poole prescribed me this medication already so why I cannot have it again? I m not stingy but anything can help in these difficult times. Once my baby will be born, I will change surgery. Didn't like Doctor Poole at all, wasn't really helpful over the phone at all.

Even in these virusy times, the reception Ladies and Nurses in the Surgery, are always very pleasant, kind, and very helpful. The Doctor sessions are now usually via a phone call to discuss other matters. But then this has always been the case before this virus turned up, and Doctor Poole and Doctor Seiger are always helpful and and pleasant, for all the years I have visited them for various reasons, even though they have to deal with very many patients.
