Regularly have dinner there with my friend. Tried others but now always eat here. Very friendly, staff cannot do enough for you, lovely atmosphere, superb food, good selection and at reasonable prices.

We only ate in the restaurant and we didn't stay in the hotel.I used to love going to Appley Manor for dinner when I was in my late teens (20+yrs ago). It's been years since I've visited, not because I've ever had a bad experience, it's just as I grew older and I ventured to new places...As we walked in the front entrance, nothing has changed. Everything about the place, was the same! It is warm and cosy, everything set out the way I remembered. It has a really welcoming vibe to it.The staff we interacted with were friendly, and attentive.I had the cottage pie and my word, it was amazing and never ending.... The taste was incredible and felt like a proper homemade meal. It came with chips and a side bowl of veg. My friend had a lasagna... He also said this was one of the best lasagnas he had ever had! His came with a side portion of chips, garlic bread and salad. We both couldn't finish our plates due to the size of the meal!No fancy presentation and the photo doesn't do this meal justice. Proper homemade grub!Great value for the money!

We have been going to Appley for about 17yrs and it's the only place we will stay on the Island and the same goes for the rest of our family. The team are just amazing and do whatever they can to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. It's like our second home! Our children who are now 15 & 11 have been going since they were toddlers and absolute love it. My Daughter was diagnosed with coeliac when she was 11 and everyone was so helpful and made sure there was breakfast and food in the restaurant for her to have so she didn't feel like she was missing out.Whenever we stay we always eat in the restaurant and such a wide variety with the menu and the specials board means you can have something different everyday and the food is always lovely, very reasonable & good portions.They are just amazing and we will continue to go back as long as we can.

We ate in the restaurant, which was a large open eating area, but broken up into smaller areas. It is very handy for large parties. But still fine for couples etc.The food was good basic fair at reasonable prices.
