Was very apprehensive due to bad experiences I've had with other travelodges but this was a delight. Exceptionally friendly staff, very clean, smelt beautiful and lovely and quiet so slept well both nights I was there. Location is also ideal for access to the town centre and public transport links. Would stay again.

Very average place. Location is let down by the lack of parking. There's is paid parking nearby but no cheapRooms: Rooms are a bit tired. Definitely needs some updating. Easy walk into town

Good quality for the price, great service at reception and bar. Pain having to register online or phone and couldn't do it in person. Room s little old fashioned and the bath a little dangerous but good value.

Basic but comfortably with tea coffee kettle in room. Hair dryer, iron and ironing board available on request. Breakfast available at extra cost, in the travel lodge café. Located near to high street, carpark, local shops, restaurants and pubs. There is also public transport. Timetable information booklet in the hotel.

For the reasons the room was booked, this place was useless. Traffic could be heard from the main street, Windows were paper thin and the curtain was so short it seemed the tailor run out of cloth. Plugs and switches will be need upgrading to offer USB charging. Many new phones done come with a brick for the USB cable.Beverages were available, room was clean, however the objective to give a night driver, a legally, deserved, undisturbed minimum rest of 9 was not achievable in all three days I stayed here. The staff were hospitable at least compared to other Travelodges.Lots of room for improvementRooms: Clean but dated configurationNearby activities: Middle of town traditional chip shop about 100m from location and a host of local shops within reach on footSafety: Safety wise peharps the entrance /exit can be made to not run across the road outside. It can be made parallel so if a child or customer decides to run out there won't be a fatality from the road outside. A cheaper alternative would be to slow the opening of automatic doors when exiting.

Reasonably priced and very centrally located. Bed was very comfortable and room was quiet.Subtracting one star for the lack of plugs in the room. There were only two over by the desk, and none by the beds.
