Part of the Halfords group, this place is competitively priced. The staff I spoke to were very helpful and friendly. A better waiting area would be much appreciated though. Its only a short walk to Asda for a coffee while you wait, but there are no paths leading you there.

Really disappointed with this garage, to be honest it was very last minute but i noticed i had a nail in my rear tyre so i thought i would try and get it repaired as soon as possible. Searched and found national tyres opened unitl 6pm i arrived at 5.13pm to find garage empty and 6/7 members of staff chillin in front of office area, then scattered when i walked in. I asked at the desk if it was possible to get a repair done and it was like i asked for the world. They could not be bothered and i took my business else where.

We took our Car to have the Tracking done a couple of days back. We checked in fine and was told it would take about an hour, and that they would have it up on the Ramp within the next 10 minutes. We decided to go for a short walk - to waste some time. We had come back within about 15 minutes and the car had not been touched. We then went and sat in the waiting area for about half hour, for someone to then come in and tell us they couldn?t do it as they apparently didn?t have the right fittings for the tyres. This baffled us as with this being a part of their service, how do they not have the correct fittings?! It was like they had a ?can not be bothered? attitude. I shall not be bringing our Car anywhere near this Garage again. Shameful really

Used national in Newport iow, for service and MOT, on my car they broke the brake pipe and ended up with a total bill of £1600, my wife was charged top price for tyres as she did not order online and also £50 for one wiper blade. We will definitely not return

Always had good service here, the guys know what they are doing and just get on with it. Cars always treated with respect and a good range of quality products offered.

I've been with this garage a good few years now and just been again to have a 10 point check done. As a woman alone I can trust and rely on Shide garage! They are always polite and do what they say and they always go the extra mile with me if need be. Highly recommended

Turned up at 10 to 5pm as have a puncture for them to say they couldn?t help us because they were shutting in 10minutes. Absolutely shocking customer service. Not very helpful or bothered with doing anything to assist us. I wouldn?t give these people my money or time of day. I?m baffled!
