Love love love French Frank's. My favourite is the crispy bacon classic baguette, but I often have the Caesar salad, and they don't mind if you want to add stuff.

I normally love french franks food, well always love it. Went in the newport one today had a large cheese and coleslaw baguette, very thin baguettes nowadays from here, i know alot are cutting costs and as for the filling well the coleslaw. I took it home and when i opened it i had to try hard to find the coleslaw, such a minute amount of it, most disappointed. It feels like the prices go up and the fillings get smaller. I am glad i was just visiting this 1 for today as i usually go to the ryde 1 which is my nearest. The staff in this one are lovely and the portion sizes are better, for the price you pay.

What can I say
Excellent in all ways great food, great service and great staff
The specials are always gone by the time I get there as they are very popular.
The down side is that there aren't any.
Good prices too.

Im a tourist and im staying in Newport for a few months and I wanted to find a nice place to eat and I came across this place and it's by far the best ever to go for breakfast and lunch times the food is excellent with lots of choices what they make there prices are reasonable and the staff are ever so lovely and friendly and this is by far way more better than subway and I'll definitely be coming here regularly for food now so if you live or new to Newport Isle of Wight you should definitely come here you won't be disappointed at all.

Disappointed with my chicken tikka baguette , the chucks of chicken are far too big for baguette without any sauce that it all kept falling apart , certainly not a sandwich filler anymore .
Shame as I was looking forward to it ?.

There a reason why there's nearly always a que.
A somewhat similar concept to Subway, but the quality of ingredients is so much better!
Once I accidentally ordered something containing an ingredient that I would normally dislike, but due to the overall composition it tasted absolutely brilliant and I ate all of it.
Also, their frozen yoghurt is really worth it as well
Vegetarian options: You can even ask for things that are not on the menu and they prepare it for you. Couldn't be any better.

Great lunch stop on a cycle around the IoW. GF options no problem. Good coffee, yummy GF brownie. Limited seating indoors but we sat outside in the shade, no umbrellas though. Quick service, very busy, friendly.

Every week I get the same order (sometimes twice) from Cowes.
And I just wanted to mention that today's Chicken Caesar Salad was the best yet, can not comment on the prawn baguette because that was not mine but it was eaten without complaint.
I highly recommend French Franks, as whatever you order the service is good and friendly. But the Caesar dressing is amazing.

Nice service, reasonably priced good food, clean bathrooms. Queue was out the door which is testament to how good it was! Coffee and a sandwich was £7 ish which compared to the chain cafes is much better.
