Ordered a mattress on 26th November 2023Guaranteed normally within 14 days .Was booked for Saturday 16th December, Friday 15th got my text with delivery time . . Saturday 16th we get a text message.We're sorry your Argos Ltd order has not reached your depot in time for delivery. We'll call you within 48 hours to rebook.We received this text on the Monday and Wednesday.That night we received the text to re- book .To set up a date for your sparkly new Argos Ltd items to be delivered.So booked it for Saturday 23rd December 2023.I got a phone call from Panther there delivery company for Argos to admit it did arrive and it had been lost in the warehouse.As it was now Christmas they needed to re order a mattress and I would need to book another delivery day in January, which I booked Saturday 13th which was the earliest weekend I could book.But then I received a phone call on Monday the 8th January to say they don't deliver to my postcode on Saturdays!!!!Absolute joke as I had already booked up on line for this mattress 3 times and they had lost it.So no weekend delivery now and only week day free for us was Friday 19th January 2024.And waiting and waiting for a delivery slot so I can make sure we have a family member ready a waiting to finally take delivery, only to receive the text message at 9.30pm at night.Fingers crossed now it gets delivered in the morning as promised.Originally Panther said we would receive an email the next day to sort.As yet not one single email or phone call to apologise.It's been a nightmare as out new bed arrived from Argos on the 18th of December and it's been sat taking up valuable space as we can't build it as no mattress for it .I want an apology, some compensation for all the hassle, time wasteted, and lies from panther that it was lost by them .Or probably stollen conveniently just in time for Christmas.It would be appreciated if Argos do contact me, to resolve this.

The Sainsbury's money men who now run the company are doing their best to destroy Argos as well, impossible to speak to anyone especially in stores over the phone and the same reoccurring issue that?s been present for years, advertising out of stock items for months on end, it never changes, get your act together!

I ordered a new oven - delivery date 23rd December. The day before they changed the delivery date to the 31st December - no Christmas dinner! It was apparently impossible to get my oven from the warehouse to the retail shop so I could collect personally. When I complained I was offered a paltry £20 compensation - still not received!! Appalling service - I do NOT recommend.

have given up trying to order anything from argos as the ones picking the orders either can not read or just really do not care. The last 3 orders i have placed have turned up completely wrong. They can't even spell my name right even though i have called customer service 3 times to have my name changed....why bother with argos now days anyway when amazon has a much bigger selection, better customer service and they know how to spell. I am convinced argos only emply people that did not go to school.

Went to this store today (Friday 18th Dec around 10.00am) "found the young female member of staff at the till helpful and polite however things changed when I was asked for my slip at the collection point. The male member of staff in the Christmas sweater, I think he was the manager, looked at my order and sarcastically commented on my order (a needlecraft kit for my wife's Christmas present), he then turned away shook his head and waited for it to come down the belt from upstairs. He picked it up commenting to a colleague and stared at the box before handing it to me. I didn't realise sarcasm was a free gift when purchasing a Christmas present! He'd already been sarcastic to the customer before me. Maybe a course on customer relations should be booked for this man. ?
