Eyes bigger than our stomachs! The food was outstanding, between 3 of us, we had both a main, dessert and a drink eat, the total came to £45.
The service was so good, nothing too much to ask, the food was so tasty and they catered gluten-free for us celiac too.
The ambience was very calm and relaxing. They also had a few little shops around which you could pick up the cutest little items either as a gift for someone else or yourself.
Also the heritage and history of the area is very quaint and interesting.

FANTASTIC place to visit. Plenty of FREE parking, some great little shops and the Cafe offered really good food which was well priced. We had Sausage and Bacon Baps with Coffee, and the Baps were loaded with premium quality meat. Excellent flavour, great service and to top it all, The Old Smithy is very 'Dog Friendly'. Love the place, been before, will go again, a perfect place to visit, highly recommended

Been coming here for several years with our little dog, and been quite happy, food is good and staff usually comment on how tiny and lovely he is.
However, we were pretty much ? told off? by the young lady who served our food today in regards to our little dog, it spoilt our meal, so sadly we may not return anymore.
It costs nothing to be polite and personable.

Does get quite busy, so a little wait at the till to order, maybe have a member of staff making drinks save holding up the queue!

Large cafe area, inside and out, with a lot of seating. Can get very loud in there as it is a conservatory, with high ceilings, and does allow coaches.
There is a variety of food options, it is not got cafe pricing but it is in the middle of a tourist village!
Parking: You can park here to visit the whole of Godshill at no charge.
