Ordered a kebab - chilli sauce absolutely blows your head off? the meat? Slimy, long and tasteless. Luckily for them they have the monopoly in east Cowes. Wouldn?t recommend

worst doner kebab I've ever had, I ordered doner kebab, and a separate portion of chips come to £11 which I thought was quite expensive considering the chips were in a tiny packet and virtually inedible absolutely rock hard I couldn't physically break them down in my mouth and the kebab was all dumped in a tray with my mayo and they put the pita bread on the outside to build my own bloody kebab, so as you can guess got mayo and crap all over my fingers, the pita was also stale and hard.The meat just did not taste right really greasy think I left 3/4 of this, avoid like the plague I wish I'd read the reviews before I went in there first chip shop ever in my life that I've not been able to chew the chips as they were so hard.

It is the best kebab we have ever had and the cheese & garlic chips are amazing, shame we only find it on our last day otherwise would have definitely gone again, will be our first stop next time

Ordered cod and chips. Cod was fine, chips were inedible, some floppy, some hard, tasteless. Believe they were microwaved after frying. Sent several emails to resolve but no answers to date. Will definitely not be returning

Really disappointed, just had battered sausage, chips & curry sauce and it was awful! Asked for salt and vinegar but chips were bland and tasteless, brown soggy and greasy (not in a good way), sausage batter tasted like dirty oil and the curry sauce watery and hardly any flavour! Now having a pot noodle for dinner instead! Never been amazing food from Samels but this time round pretty much inedible, won?t be returning again!

Staff are great. Shame the food isn?t. Chips are cold and chewy. Fish cakes are cremated.

Went there yesterday evening and so glad I found it! Three haddock and chips and the fish was first class. Spoke to Sam and the staff and they were all so friendly despite me arriving shortly before closing. Highly recommend!

Only ever ordered deliverys but this takeaway is always consistent. Kebabs are of a decent size and not caped in grease.best takeaway in east cowes by far! Chips are chippy chips and not frozen fries from bookers/medina etc. These guys can do well if they remain consistent.?.

I totally recommend their sausages they are so lush and the chips are just the normal chips you?d expect from a chippy.
