Great Sunday carvery, choice of small, medium or large?it?s more for the meat portion, I had a small, the choice of veg was great, friendly chef serving too. Son had the children?s Mac cheese and I think he enjoyed it as he didn?t leave any! You get two sides, ice cream and a drink with the deal.

After reading such good reviews we decided to give the carvery a go today, what a mistake, the room was stuffy and airless, made us feel like the walls were closing in on us, the carvery, well I would put it on par with the Sloop,one I would not wish to visit again! no crispy potatoes, overcooked vegetables that were obviously frozen to begin and not fresh, the ?green beans? had no green left in them at all, the carrots were rubbery, the cabbage was swimming in water, when I go out for a meal I do not expect to be eating frozen vegetables.
The atmosphere in the place was nothing to write home about, dull, stuffy, airless with sticky floors, we will NOT be returning!

Was recommended The Bugle for a Sunday carvery and very pleased that it loved up to our expectations. Quite busy so booking obviously a good move. As it was busy the food was replenished and hot. The staff were also knowledgeable about the food as my wife is veggie.

Not been there before lovely setting sat outside plenty of tables. Food very good plenty on plate good choice on menu and reasonable prices .staff friendly.

Ok but music too loud. Food is not home cooked despite the sign outside saying it is.
A bit dark and dingy inside. Service was a bit lack lustre.
