We love this place for a family evening meal. Service is great , food quality is always top class and you will never leave hungry with their portion sizes!

Our first visit here was unfortunately disappointing, both in terms of food and service. When we arrived, the staff told us we could sit anywhere, but didn?t explain how ordering worked. We sat outside for over five minutes while staff passed by serving other tables, yet no one approached us or clarified the process. Eventually, we went inside and discovered that orders had to be placed at the bar?something that could have been made much clearer from the start.
The food was reasonably priced but rather underwhelming in taste. That said, the sundae was a highlight?delicious and enjoyable.
The outdoor seating area has a nice atmosphere, though it can be less pleasant with smokers and wasps around. On a summer day, the patio does seem like a popular and pleasant spot to dine. It was busy when we visited but you still can find a space somewhere without waiting.

A busy pub, whose staff fitted us in for a table even though we hadn't booked in advance.
Good food portion sizes with meals and a selection of real ales.
We were in/out within an hour in time to catch our ferry.

Not overly busy for a Monday during tourist season but gently ticking over. Not a huge wait for food. Order and pay at the bar, staff bring it to the table.
I had Chicken Caesar salad, more than enough to be filling, no room for pudding!!!
Couldn't book online for the same day, so had to wing it!

Fantastic food, really good choice and huge portions and our meals were ready really quickly. Super friendly helpful staff. Well worth a visit.

We had lunch there. It?s a lovely pub with seating inside and outside. We did walk in and there were free tables that day. I had the ploughman?s which was a good size. Lovely thick cut ham, lovely cheeses. Loved the gherkin along with the pickled onion , half an apple, salad, coleslaw, Piccadilly, baguette.
Steak was special of the day and they said it was very tasty with the chips, onion rings. Salad, mushrooms, grilled tomatoes.
Chicken chow mein was good too.
A great menu with a good selection.

Lovely location with great views.
The staff are very attentive.
Good menu choice.
We were recommended to come here by friends who live in the island.
Sadly our meals disappointed us. Liver and bacon was swimming deeply in gravy and the prawn chow mein was very dry.
We would definitely return as it was a beautiful setting and try something else from the menu.

Good place for you?re after a quick bite to eat.
We came in for breakfast and ended up having 3 bacon sandwich?s, a croissant, 2 lattes and 2 cokes which ended up costing just short of £40. A little bit expensive but the food and atmosphere were pleasant
