Just superb! Friendly staff and nice atmosphere waiting in line. The fish and chips were outstanding. Fish - generous, tasty with a beautiful crispy batter! The chips - again, generous and quite simply the perfect chip-shop chips!

Had been recommended so drove out of town to visit, waited considerable time for a simple order and actually the food was not too shabby so was happy to have waited , however what let it down was the attitude of the server (lady wearing a mask over face), she was very rude and not helpful. Very to the point, blunt and considering it was a new visit, didn't want to help or engage. Whilst it may be busy, each customer is valued in any business, and I certainly didn't feel that here.

Visited to order food for takeaway tonight. A que to begin with (expected on a Friday night) waited 55mins for the order to be ready to then drive home (15mins away) and they had not even completed the correct order!! Was missing 2 saveloys from our order which was my sons meal! I tried to call 7 times and it just rings out each time! I do not want to complete a half an hour drive to collect the items I have paid for and shouldn't have to!! Will not order again.

Excellent fresh fish, beautifully cooked and served with chips. Eating straight away in the restaurant is the best way to enjoy.

I think it's the best battered fish, battered sausage and chips in the area. Mainly take-away and they've also got a tiny restaurant with "bring your own" wine or beer arrangement.

Feel very upset told me my food would be ready almost a half an hour later was letting other people that just arrived get their food before me I can only imagine it?s to do with my ethnicity very rude would not recommend to anybody that would have a similar experience as

Stopped in for takeaway fish and chips. Despite being right opposite the till and near staff who were serving, I wasn?t acknowledged for some time or greeted. It seemed more local residents were greeted and treated better. All the staff looked miserable too. The place was not welcoming and the fish and chips weren?t great either, the fish gave both my partner and I upset stomachs the next day. Won?t be returning.

Very friendly well organized fish and chip shop with sustainably (MSC, Icelandic Responsible Fisheries) sourced fish. The small restaurant (seats 12) offers fresh tea by the pot and is a great alternative to eating in the car or hotel room (speaking from experience)! Medium chips portion will more than satisfy most people.

This place is so welcoming with delicious food. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a sit down meal and chose the half fish and chips and there was plenty of food! Really tasty, especially the Irish curry sauce. We were served quickly too and enjoyed nice chats with the staff. Will definitely visit here again.
