we had as fabulous lunch there yesterday 31/1/25...
pork belly was so tasty and tender and steak done just as asked rare and melted in your mouth.........desserts were to die for too and went down wonderfully......yummy ....
service was exceptional from the ladies too.........
would definitely recommend....and definitely will return again........given it a 5*....

Just had an amazing meal at the Red Lion - unbelievably good service all evening and equally fabulous food. We were a big party, the place was buzzing and yet we were still well looked after. Fabulous

Decidedly average pub food and quite mean portions on the trio of roasts. Service was basic- no one asked how our meals were even when collecting our plates.
We wouldn?t go back.

First visit to our new local restaurant /pub - couldn?t be happier. We all had something different and couldn?t fault anything - recommend the pies !! Fabulous consideration for the drivers / non drinkers with tasty cocktails or mocktails? Could possibly bring down the price of desserts but that?s the only negative ?. Thanks Red

Many thanks, we had a really wonderful Sunday lunch with my mother and fathering law.
Food was excellent, service great.
Car park was absolutely rammed and I'm not surprised.
Very impressed, we will be back.

I recently visited The Red Lion Pub, and I must say it exceeded all expectations. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. The food was absolutely fantastic?classic pub fare with a gourmet twist.
One of the highlights of my visit was the exceptional service. Beth, one of the staff members, went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. She was friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome. It?s rare to find such personalized and thoughtful service these days, and Beth truly made the experience special.
I highly recommend The Red Lion Pub for anyone looking for great food, a cozy atmosphere, and top-notch service. I?ll definitely be back!
