Today I went to Hatfield Wickes and bought a Bosch Easy Rotak 32-225 Corded 32cm lawnmower - however, when I got it home and unpacked it to assemble it I couldn?t work out how to assemble the handles and thought there was a manufacturer error with the screw. I drove back to my nearest branch in Welwyn Garden City frustrated; emotional and upset and spoke with Steve to inform him of my issue and could he assess the situation. Steve stood back and observed what I had done then proceeded to assemble the handles correctly - even explaining how to keep screwing in the black screw at the base of the lawnmower so it fully threads through.
Steve is a credit to Wickes as his customer service is exemplary - he went above and beyond - Steve deserves employee of the month!

Don?t book online system is very poor. Searched for some garden trellis, they had it in stock so ordered and paid with a pick up time 30 minutes from order. 2 minutes into the 30 minutes got a call saying they didn?t have any and would cancel the order, send an email immediately confirming cancellation and confirming a refund would be sent. No email 3 hours later, believe the return of our money will take 2 to 3 days depending on banks, but taking our payment was immediate. Called and got no one who could give any sort of sensible answer to my questions. Totally unprofessional.

Had a bad experience a few days ago but after much thought I decided to go back. I spoke with a lovely lady called Helen who put my order through and later confirmed my delivery day. Today the driver named Danny from St Alban's arrived with my goods what a fantastic man. Maybe some members of staff including managers need a refresher course in customer service. Helen would be a good teacher.

Disappointed with your delivery policy. Wanted to order compost etc to enable us to grow vegetables for an elderly community and you Wanted to charge £30. We are trying to help pensioners in the local area who don't have money to buy fresh produce. Sorry to say you have let us down big time
