Within 24 hours of requesting an e-consult, I spoke to the doctor and saw them the same day for a follow-up in-person appointment. Speedy, professional and comprehensive response

What kind of rude and horrible people do you guys have at the reception! So so horrible! Yelling at me and saying "can't get a doctor to call you simply because you say you are not well" this was after I explained that I have been trying to speak to a doctor for weeks and it wasn't forth coming! She started ti Yell! Whaaaatttt!!! No! It's better to find another option! This guys are the very worst and rude set of people

This used to be a great practice and they have some amazing doctors and staff, however recently they seem to be trying to "streamline" things. When trying to get an appointment with my doctor recently I've had to call twice, and fill out an online form and still haven't been offered an appointment. The automatic response seems to be to tell patients to call back another day, or fill out a lengthy and complicated econsult form. This approach takes up a lot of time for both the patient and staff at the surgery. This change in approach has made it more difficult to access treatment and will likely mean that vulnerable patients who struggle to complete multiple tasks, fill out complex forms, or find addressing health issues difficult, will likely give up or delay trying to access treatment.I expect it makes them look better in some statistical measure but in the long run it will mean more patients going without appropriate care and add to the future care needs of their patients.

Even a star is not worth for the way you treat your patients. I called last week to arrange an appointment for my mum, and was offered one on a Saturday at Spring House surgery. The receptionist informed me that the appointment is at 12:50, arrived there 10 minutes early and learnt that the appointment was in fact booked for 12:15. I explained the receptionist at Spring house that it must have been a mistake, hence my mum was not able to see a doctor. This morning called again Hall Grove to explain what has happened, and kindly requested a new appointment. The receptionist told me ?you do not have appointments call back tomorrow at 8:30?; that?s fine but I would like an appointment at any other surgery including weekend I do not mind. Yes, but you need to call tomorrow at 8:30. I questioned the receptionist if I am looking for a Saturday appointment, when to call on Saturday? Your surgery is closed and spring house won?t see me, as I need to book the appointment through yourself ?hall grove?. She hanged up on me, possibly because she did not like being questioned. ?I called back again, and manage to speak to a lovely lady, and I secured an appointment at Spring House for this Saturday. Thank you helping me out, and for being so kind. You have 5 stars. The lady who was possibly in a bad mood, the way you handle my call and failed to listen to my request no stars. It was unpleasant, and I am sure you won?t like it if someone was to hang up on you.

This practice deserves more appreciation than it is getting. I have heard of practices which have their doors shut more often than they are open. You cannot get through on the phone talk more get an appointment. Hall Grove practice makes the effort to reach its patients. I have been with the practice for more than 4 years, never denied an appointment where necessary. They may not be 100% but they stand out amongst other GP practices. All said, it is one bad egg that spoils the lot. Such people should be reported to get official attention and correction. Thank you so much for the work you do.
