Always been very helpful, friendly and efficient. The opening hours do vary a little as it's an add on to the newsagents, so dependant on staffing and training/ access levels of who's available on the day, but in all honesty, if you're tagging official "post office" responsibilities onto a small newsagent outlet, rather than having an official royal mail retail location, this is completely to be expected. While they cannot necessarily keep all the hours updated online on a daily basis, they make it very clear at the shop when they'll be open and closed for the post office, and I work with that. On the whole they're available in the main hours you'd expect them to be and they're totally on the ball when you go there. Kudos to the staff, and the shop for taking on duties that Royal Mail should be handling themselves.

Utterly hopeless post office. Sender took a parcel there on Monday to be sent 1st class recorded. It should have been delivered to me by yesterday. However on the Friday it is still there. It's post offices like this one which give Royal Mail a poor reputation.

I went to this Martin?s moor walk postoffice today at 11.15am . I have a parcel weighing 2.2 kg and asked for 2nd class sigh for . They wanted to post it by Patcelforce only . Not Royalmail because it was over 2 kg . I used to work in postoffice myself and I said can you do medium parcel and they refused. Very poor service and even don?t want to check how to do it . Even from postoffice staff said no to take my 2nd class parcel . Need more training and told me to take your postoffice that is very rudes

Turned up at 10am on Saturday morning to collect a parcel, the shop staff told me the post office wasnâ??t open yet and I should come back at 10:30. Upon my return at 10:30 I was told the post office was still closed and that I should come back in half an hour, at this point there were at least 2 other customers that needed to use the service that had been told to come back later twice already. I think The Post Office need to review whether or not this store is capable of operating the service, or whether a change of staff is in order...

Visited here yesterday Friday 5th April at 3.15pm, the old lady behind the Martins shop cash till said that the Post Office would re-open at 3.30pm, even though lunch closure is clearly stated as 1pm to 2pm???She looked at a customer and rudely said that she had to have a break sometime, what a rude person!!!I went back to the Post office at 3.45 to find a person behind the desk who had clearly been drinking alcohol.What a waste of my time as they did not know how to process car tax using the new keepers green slip.The intoxicated Post Office waste of space was not trained in such matters or had consumed so much to drink that they did not know what they were doing.Best to stay away from this place altogether!!!

Absolutely the worst Post Office I have ever used! My 3rd visit there of the week, 1st visit - the assistant had great delight in telling me that she was unable to help me as the systems were down. The second visit at 4:50pm I was told that they was closing up and only served me when I pressed the issue about closing times. Basically telling me that the information on closing times on the Website was in respect of McColls and had nothing to do with The Post Office, despite the Post Office logo being on the website. The 3rd visit today, I asked for the cheapest service to send an item tracked, only for the assistant to rattle off about 6 different ways to return a parcel, then when I asked for the cheapest option she had first given me she told me that it wouldn't be tracked and ended up going through the whole list again. On each of my visits I have found the Post Office staff extremely rude and unhelpful. The only courteous member of staff there was the chap working on the McColls shop till, who apologised as I left as they were unable to help on the day the systems were down. Poor service the say the least ...

No stars. Appalling service. I ve ordered â?¬500 and told to pick up on saturday at 13.00. At 12.30 the post office was already closed not to mention that the program is untill 18.30.
Also, they had my telephon number as well.

i asked my partner to get me a £12 postal order to be made out to the salvation army at the panshanger post office and the guy behind the counter made it out to the south Asian army ; when it was pointed out it was to the wrong people he then put to the saluation army . I mean do these people not know how to spell I finally got it made out to the correct people . I suggest that the panshangar branch get 1 ) people who can spell and 2) they understand the English language before given a job .
