Never, ever had a bad pizza at the Welwyn Garden Pizza Express. The starters, romano pizza and dessert were all delicious. The service was exemplary throughout the meal. We have been here many times and never been disappointed.

Vegetarian options: This place is awful. One of the members of staff has very rude to me while collecting take away. The tall Indian man has been very rude and aggressive swearing at me in-front of other customers. He pushed me and grabbed my phone when I wanted to video him. Avoid this place at any cost. Poor staff Management to employ rude staff like him.

Please can the person in charge of this restaurant ask the staff to clean the glasses. Wine glasses with stains that you have to clean yourself and water glasses on the table that are disgusting. I know wgc has a problem with calcium but no other pub or restaurant is as bad as this one.

Didn't take the name of the waiter who served us at table 10. But yet to have such a nice waiter as this gentleman. For the first time ever we wanted to tip and went for 15% tip. We required Gluten Free and he took our choices precisely and effortlessly. If he can have a shout out it would be appreciated. If we weren't passing through the area, we would have this as our regular just because of the waiter.

Multiple staff members looked at us and then ignored our large group as we waited for our table. Staff were smoking out the back, and smell was wafting in. This disrupted our experience and concerning for an asthmatic member of our group. Starters and drinks were fine. However, we were one of the last groups in the restaurant to receive mains despite people arriving after us. Chicken calzone was poor quality, 4 small pieces of chicken inside, no pesto, no basil and they'd filled it with spinach instead making it incredibly watery. The worst experience I've ever had at a pizza express.

Ordered 2 chocolate fudge cakes via uber. Took over 40 mins to deliver 2 small slices of unheated cake. From a resturant 3 mins drive away. The chocolate fudge cake at pizza express used to be so lovely, this one is now small and very average and cost £7.50 a slice, not worth it. Doesn't come with cream or ice cream anymore.

Food was absolutely delicious I had ordered the Cannelloni and the classic American Pizza. Although the staff were lovely there were issues with service. At the start we had ordered the food altogether but we had to wait 1 hour for our mains to arrive! Frankly disappointing as it was not a complicated menu to prepare.

Really disappointing service. Table was booked in advance and restaurant was only about 75% full, but service was so slow. After being seated and provided with menus it took over 20 minutes for our order to be taken, and the service was so slow at every stage. When we requested the bill it took so long to come we were on the verge of walking out. What should have been a pleasant birthday celebration for my daughter and friends turned into frustration and annoyance

Pizza absolutely awful. Meat had lots of particles of gristle Pizza base dripping in grease despite having no cheese or oil on the piizza. Thankfully there were deals on but at the usual price of around £18 a pop just for a Pizza it's terrible value. No more visits to this brand, it's not the first bad experience here and just not worth giving them the opportunity to disappoint again.

Went here today and the service was shocking. Such a shame as we have been here many times before and has been generally okay. Sat down with menus and didn?t even have anyone take a drinks order for over 25 mins. Another table next to us complained about the service, and spoke to us saying how it?s ridiculous how newer customers are being served before our 2 tables. The table next to us spoke to the manager asking if can we order, manager said she will serve us shortly, and then rushed off to seat more customers waiting at the door ?!? Both my table and the table next to us ended up walking out.

Terrible service! Took forever to even order and had to wait for over 45 minuets for our food! The restaurant isn?t even quiet and has plenty of staff so no excuses for poor service! I suggest staff should be re trained!
