It's a shame that I have to give them one star. I want to get my phone app details, which you can't get on the phone and I haven't got access to the internet banking. They've closed my local branch which means I have to drive to another town and now they don't even stay open until 5. There are better and more local banks offering £200 to swap accounts, I think that's what I'm going to do. NatWest used to pride itself on its customer service and ever since covid has done everything it can to ruin its reputation. What a joke, and they want you to trust them with your money??? ... I mean, lets think that one through shall we? If you are looking for a good bank to open an account with, move on there is nothing to see here... literally, it's a wonder they bother opening their doors at all.

So I joined the telephone queue then opted for a call back, which I got. I explained my issue to a female operative and in all honesty appeared clueless she went off to get an investigation going with please hold callerAND BAILED OUT BY PUTTING THE PHONE DOWN. A Micky Mouse out fit exist's in welyn garden city wherever that i's.....it's Nat West's call centre.Couldn't give zero stars unfortunately.

Unhelpful cashiers think they are the boss a simple task of getting a stamp on a letter seems too complicated for them as 'no computers or printers on site!!!!!' Folllwed by the usual sarchiastic sorry!!!!!

Due to covid they come out to you which I understand but ask you what you want loudly I dont want others to know my business I had a large amount to deposit if I had said people would know how much I had on me i could have been mugged

I was a member of staff at NatWest for 15 years I went in to Welwyn garden city branch on Friday to with draw from mine and my daughters account counter staff where very rude and abrupt telling me that the counter doesnâ??t open till 10am and that they had told me about which no they never have and then questioning me about the account saying that we canâ??t use it anymore as my daughter is too old but the previous month never said a word???? Well NatWest you have lost out I have changed all payments coming in to the account and will be closing it. When I said to the member of staff about there is nothing on the Webb site to let you know about the hours of the counter was told very abruptly they donâ??t have to put it on there but I would have thought they should do that people know very angry ð??¡ð??¡ð??¡

Natwest really need to invest in this branch. Dilapidated and a mixed bag of staff, some are extremely helpful, others are rude and unfriendly. More often or not there are large queue's. We've moved to Barclays and the service is a million times better.
