I am incredibly disappointment in Lloyds Bank and their treatment of elderly people. I have been locked out of my bank account for over 6 weeks. I am disabled and housebound and cannot get to the branch. But I have been repeatedly told that I must physically go into the branch in order to regain access to my money. I have explained that I cannot do this! I have tried repeatedly to resolve the problem over the phone, as have my daughters, but the Lloyds representatives have just said they cannot help. I have not been able to pay for anything, including my utilities or food shopping, for over a month! I am astounded that Lloyds has no policy for helping its disabled and elderly customers.

I visited today Lloyds at WGC and have been served today by Miss Jasmina Bukir. No doubt it was my really best in branch experience. Very professional and friendly service. Easy 10 out of 10 :)

Arrived 30 seconds before closing with a wheel chair bound client. Bank staff were welcoming and more than happy to accommodate us past closing time. Service was excellent, efficient considerate and friendly. The staff should be commended for awesome customer service. Today's experience makes me proud to be a Lloyds customer.

Don't bank with them. Go to a different bank. Staff are arrogant, inflexible but still manage to come across as trying to help.

So you go in to ask for advice on why your debit card was blocked (suspicious transaction) only to be told your debit card is unsafe and high risk and 'would you like one of our credit cards?'. Erm, it is your debit card and if they are so risky, why do you issue them? Alternatively, ask for an account balance and they'll ask if you want an account review (sell loans, insurance, more cards etc). Be prepared if you dare venture inside, you could be a while.
